Didn’t go today, 8000 miles away. Spent the day searching the bars of Saigon in the hope of finding one which might have the game on, but to no avail. Had to make do with Higgy on Mixr. Great result for us.

Wasn’t confident we’d make the final until Larnell Cole’s 4th went in. Ebbsfleet had decent fans and a team who took it to the wire. Shame about the scrap near the end, couldn’t see who did what exactly.

Congratulations Tranmere. Please go and win it now. Anyone but Boreham fucking Wood.

Gutted for us, but a phenomenal effort these past three weeks and in general this season. Took it's toll on us in the end. Can't fault the lads at all.

Pick ourselves up and get ready for next season. Some changes needed in the side, but nothing major.

Respect to you lot, gave it a good go and gave Tranmere a better game than we would have had we won Wednesday.

Hope Tranmere do it, would be embarrassing having tinpotters like Sutton or Borehamwood in the FL, was bad enough with FGR going up last season.

Dave Winfield has a bite mark on his arm from Harris, from what I've heard. He's not normally one to react like that.

Shame it had to end that way but, as I said, we've done ourselves proud. Just hope you lot win it now.

Their poor start is a myth. We'd have still won it.
21 pts after 17 games.. 61 from the following 27 games. Not much of a myth. Who cares now*.

*ill let you know if I care at around 5pm next Saturday.

Absolute bull and sour grapes. No bite but there was also no punch from your lad. Lost your heads at the end.

Absolutely broken after that. Playoffs are absolutely brutal. Over the moon to be at Wembley though and lets hope for a better scoreline than last year. Think I'd rather play Sutton than Boreham Wood.

Hats off to Ebbsfleet they're a good side with some real character. Their manager Daryl McMahon is one of the best going in my opinion at this level and a genuine nice guy. At the end of the game he shook each and every one of the Tranmere coaches hands and made a point of speaking for a while with Micky. Top class act him.

As I said, just from what's been reported thus far.

I wasn't there, and I always refuse to comment on games when I'm not there. From what I saw on BT, Harris took Winfield out (after a terrific challenge may I add), then they tangled. If there was a bite, then it would have been in the tangle, not before. McNulty was a c*** as Winfield was walking off though. Shame, as I like McNulty.

Let's not let this take away from a thoroughly deserved victory for you guys. We gave it our all, but it wasn't enough unfortunately. You were better.

The first thing he did after the Shots shootout was shake Waddock's hand, despite everybody else running towards the away end. He may be young, but he's got a hell of a lot of class, and will go far.

This is the time for the brotherhood to close ranks and banish the tinpot pretenders to a permanent life of sodom.

Is that the optimal number of games for your "bad start" to work?

We only had 5 points from 5 games. If it wasnt for our bad start we'd have over 100 points.

The Winfield incident is not really worth arguing about, as the game was already over at that point.

Ebbsfleet were miles better than when we played them a couple of months ago, but we showed good character to come from behind twice in a match like that. In previous seasons we would have folded.

Ashmore will surely be playing in the Football League soon, and we surely can't play any worse at Wembley than we did last year. I think I would prefer Sutton in the final.

If Macclesfield had Tranmere’s players, they would have been even better Champions!

Fleet had a game plan and stuck to it well for the 90 minutes - change ends, neutralise the full Kop by time wasting from the first minute. Extra time proved a step too far. Absolutely nerve shredding that, but a great day in the end, well worth all the trains! Rather have Sutton than Borehamwood in the final, because losing at Wembley to one man and his dog at the other end of the ground (again... ;) ) will hurt even more this time.

As a Fydle fan don't you have anything more valuable to offer, like say, your Blackpool season ticket? :£:£:£
