Wembley is to small for them anyway.. Just give them promotion and leave the rest to playoff for the runners up spot.

Credit to Ebbsfleet though, really don't know how they manage to keep on going with two games a week for the last month, many of them played away, and one of them going into extra time and a penalty shoot-out.

Never seen this much time wasting with level scores. Reckon he's injured? Me neither.

Ashmore is such a prick, own goal from him in the 6th minute of injury time would be so sweet.

This is an awful game. Ebbsfleet are doing little, we're just giving the ball away over and over. So frustrating to watch.

When I saw Manny come on thought of his added time winner for us away at barrow not long after he joined but he's not really been up there.

All of a sudden Tranmere think time wasting is OK and funny when they start doing it.

We don't normally, ever, but you've got to admit there is the sweet taste of revenge doing it now.

Agree about the ‘revenge’ bit but you would be doing it anyway, regardless of what Ashmore was doing earlier.

Sad to see Ebbsfleet and Winfield lose their head like that after all the effort they have put in.

There's no need to ref them out of it any more by sending someone off for nothing, they're already 4-2 down.

Norwood FC will lose to Borehamwood.

Winfield and Ebbsfleet punished for "what they did" against us and the Blissett red card.

That gobby Tranmere sub trying to act hard but standing far enough away so if it did kick off he could run away.

I was quite nervous on Tranmere's behalf (imagine what their fans would have been feeling!) when the BBC live page was stuck on 2-2 (isn't it supposed to refresh automatically?). Well done to their team in sticking to it and showing belief to get those late goals after going behind twice.

Hoping for a Tranmere vs Sutton final as it's the 2nd and 3rd best teams, and should the worst come to the worst I think Sutton would offer a lot more to the league than Boreham Wood.

I'm usually last to defend cockneys but travelling up to Birkenhead for a 12:15pm or whenever kickoff? Evil prevails.

Kent is certainly not Cockney country!

Shame for the Fleet, but two games going to extra time in the space of only a few days has done for them. Superb end to the season though.

Well, that was an emotional rollercoaster. Not pretty in any sense, and I'm exhausted!

Congratulations Tranmere. Please go and win it now. Anyone but Boreham fucking Wood.

Gutted for us, but a phenomenal effort these past three weeks and in general this season. Took it's toll on us in the end. Can't fault the lads at all.

Pick ourselves up and get ready for next season. Some changes needed in the side, but nothing major.

Did well there, going life and death with a Tranmere side that have had 3 weeks rest ahead of the game. It's all up to the refs next week now.

Fair play. I don't blame you for trying to slow the game down, your lads must be knackered! Pushed us (almost) all the way, and your fans were excellent. Hope they all have a safe trip home.

We were always going to try and slow it down, we did the same at Aldershot. While we have a good budget, we've got a thin squad. We've had pretty much the same 16 for weeks, we haven't had the depth to change things up if and when needed. Even with that luxury, we would have still lost today. You've got a side there that should be winning the league IMO, and if it wasn't for a poor start, you would have done.

We'll come back next year, hopefully with a few additions, and fight at the top end from the off rather than do it in the last few months.

Their poor start is a myth. We'd have still won it.
