A seven second clip of an eleven second video taken totally out of context. Spreading this shit all over social media is how policing is dramatically undermined in this country. No doubt an excellent officer will now get thrown under a bus for this, and it will be to the detriment of our relations with other clubs, given the huge amount of work Jason does to keep other forces in touch with our more idiotic element, who incidentally filmed this.

In what context was it taken out of curiously?

Danny Rowe justifying his award by being anonymous all game. Much better football match last night than the one between Aldershot and Ebbsfleet.

Having watched Aldershot and Fylde a few times now, I’m not sure why the former is considered the best footballing side in the division, possibly last season but not this.

Yeah he couldn’t get into it tranmerewhite, he has games like that. The service were poor to him though to be fair. Just seen the highlights of the disallowed goal we had. He looked onside and after watching them he was onside by 3 yards. Gutted, although over the season we’ve been nowhere near good enough to get promoted

Difference though isn’t it, Cook and Norwood do their own work a lot of the time.

Wasn’t really a dissallowed goal as the keeper didn’t try to stop it. But it was onside yes. Thought the referee was good in that match though, just a linesman’s error.

Even Sutton fans aren't Sutton. It's the last thing they want.

Getting to Wembley is part of the plan. Free publicity to moan about how evil the situation is and then get reffed out at Wembley to avoid embarrassing the authorities.

You’re always going to say Cook and we’re always going to say Rowe, it’s pointless comparing them.

As for us, we need a couple of centre back that are leaders. Bollock players. Bar Finley, nobody moans. Regardless of the decision we just get on with it. Pisses me right off. We don’t timewaste either. Christ, how often were they on the floor last night. We need to do more of that. We’re not streetwise enough. We need a McNulty or a Pearson or even one of them Solihull centre backs.

I agree with what you say about the work Jason does, and i've seen first hand the way he diffuses tensions in the crowd at away games when the stewards cant handle it. Unfortunately, while it seems way out of character, his words will only be taken one way these days.

Pearson is the most overrated player in the league. Put him in an attacking team like Tranmere or Fylde and he’d be knackered.

As for time wasting, every team in this league would do that at 2-1 like Boreham Wood did. Fylde however didn’t do enough in the final third despite having a lot of the ball second half.

Pearson definitely isn’t overrated. Did annoy me him trying to be cool by claiming Wrexham were poor after beating Chester away.

Seven seconds of a much longer discourse that only contains a tiny bit of the dialogue. The bit that was shown was edited nicely to fit him up, simple as.

Agree all day long the Police should be held accountable for everything said and done, but crafty editing and selective Daily Heilesque headlines should also be open to scrutiny too, it only fuels an anti-Police agenda, and once these videos and headlines are there, the damage is done, even if later evidence proves it to be a non- story.

Boreham Wood are expecting 750-1000 fans to travel to Sutton on Sunday. Ok then.....

In other news we've passed the 2000 ticket mark which by our standards is still a big turnout

Hahahaha.

Decent enough from you though. Is there a POTD option or just advance?

160 or so of ours have decided to save themselves £2 by paying in advance for their tickets tomorrow. Reckon we'll have about 500 or so.

There is a POTD option as well, but with the home end restricted to a little over 3600 atm people are being extra cautious

Looking like we won't match last season's semifinal attendance, but should be a decent crowd nonetheless. Nervous as hell, but a few beers and a song or two in the tent should help!

Yeah, not surprised by that. Good luck anyway! Fancy you to get the win.

Yep reckon around 9500 with about 350 from Ebbsfleet. Also extremely nervous but rather have it like this than not getting in the playoffs at all! Need to get at them from the off and hopefully get an early lead. Making them chase the game would be the ideal situation for us. Going 3-1 Tranmere

I'm very much relying on Tranmere to get promoted so we can have a local game next season and a game against a club we have a long history of playing against as opposed to the other three (although I did see us play Ebbsfleet in the FA Cup a decade ago).

Of course, since this requires relying on Tranmere to actually do something which doesn't break the many hearts of their loyal fans, I'm absolutely resigned to a trip to any of the other three. It's got to the point now where Tranmere should be put in the OED in verb form to define heartbreaking failure.

My heart has long been a knotted scarred lump, thanks to Tranmere.

Tranmere have only lost one play-off competition in recent years and they got to the final, it's hardly on the level of Grimsby/Wrexham/Luton constant failures.

4 in a row for us, with only one final. Read somewhere that Ipswich have the worst record but can’t remember how many they’ve lost out in.

Ours was 3 losses in consecutive seasons before winning it in the 4th consecutive season.

Seem to remember Lincoln under Big Keith losing out 4 seasons in a row in League 2 I think.

Our record in play-offs and in front of large crowds is not great. Getting very nervous as ko approaches.

Tranmere needn’t worry about today, the National League want them in the showcase event. It’s next weekend that they’ve no chance.

Since Tranmere were last promoted when they won the League One playoff final in 1991

- 3 playoff semi final failures in 3 seasons
- Agonising League Cup semi final defeat to Villa
- Lost the League Cup final to Leicester
- Relegated in 2001
- Missed the playoffs in 2003 with 80 points (I believe they're the only team to ever do this with 4 playoff places available)
- Missed out on autos in 2005 then lost in the playoffs on penalties to Hartlepool
- Came 3 minutes away from the playoffs in 2009 but conceded and then Ronnie Moore was sacked which set the club back a few years.
- Started the 2012-13 season on a 13 game unbeaten run then bottled the Top 6 completely.
- Relegated on the final day in 2014
- Back to back relegations to non league in 2015
- Missed playoffs final day 2016
- Lost the playoff final in 2017

- Not to mention, particularly in recent years, Tranmere have a habit of bottling huge league games, the Macclesfield at home one really sticks out this season. If any fans deserve some success, it's them lot and their time is long, long overdue.

They'll win 3-0 today, don't worry.
