Anyone have any idea what the attendance is tonight?

I thought of going and I've been to a Boreham Wood game once when they hosted Kingstonian in the 2010 Ryman League Premier final, but although I quite enjoyed the ground and the game, seeing one of their lowlifes assault one of the Kingstonian players left a somewhat nasty taste in the mouth, especially when hearing more about their thuggish element afterwards. (Thankfully I'd had the sense at half time to move from the terrace near where the attack occurred so didn't see the full extent of it, there were some scary weirdos up there.)

Connor Jennings was released from hospital and is miraculously expected to return to light training tomorrow. Only reason he'd do that is if there was a chance he'd be available for a potential game in 9 days time..

Just had a good reason why we didn’t want to play Aldershot.

90 minutes of them singing “we’re Aldershot” and nothing else..

I reckon Borehamwood could take Tranmere at Wembley anyway with no 'help' from the National League.

1,244, with 136 away supporters

Interesting, the Ryman Premier play off final had 1102, and there looked to be a good deal more than 136 Kingstonian fans. So now they do have some genuine supporters, not just Spurs fans liking to watch their local team, or those who like to make trouble at big games?

I still haven't got over the fact we virtually won the game twice last night, and somehow ended up losing - think its going to take me some time.

Still really annoyed that Kabamba didn't have the bottle to take a penalty which meant Ward had to take the decisive penalty.

See you all next season (apart from Tranmere who hopefully are going up).

Gutted. We just didn’t get going. Smith looked onside like but what can you. Smith and Muldoon were too quiet, Montrose class, again. How good is that Andrade as well. Good luck to the teams still in it. See you next season

Montrose and Andrade may well be playing in the FL next season - both excellent players.

I watched it back today, and I still don't know how we won!

As I posted on Twitter last night, amongst the jubilant celebrations, I actually felt sorry for Ward. Was terrific, and to miss that penalty must have been heartbreaking for the lad. He looked gone. Hope he picks himself back up quickly.

They've already taken 4 points from us, the only team in the playoff positions that we failed to beat. They're a good side. I wish they weren't, because their ground is essentially a football pitch with a wall around it, and they get all awkward about letting you see the footage of the game if you beat them there (never did get to see jennings' winner last season but the radio said it was a good strike anyway).

It makes me smile how our supporters have been wetting themselves for months about Fylde based on New Year's Day but Wood are actually a better team. However, if Ferrier and Smith are out injured it is good news for their (potential) opponents.

Balanta, Ferrier, Andrade etc all good players. They'd probably even make our bench.

I've said it before, we're getting beaten by Boring Wood at Wembley and it's going to be the most depressing thing ever.

Nothing will ever be more depressing than getting reffed out of the league cup final*

*unless we fail to go up this year, that'd be worse.

I was far more miserable after last season's final than after the league cup final. At least we did ourselves proud in the latter!

One step from our first trophy for years and probably a springboard back towards challenging at the top of the Championship, we lost the league cup final too...

Losing on Saturday would eclipse both of those experiences.

I know one end is basically nothing but they do have 2 stands which are ok - or were last time I went.

Did well to get 1,600 - most of the locals would have been watching Arsenal on the box.

For a goalkeeper, Ward's penalty was actually pretty decent but somehow it stayed out.

To be honest I actually think you will give Tranmere a better side than we would because you are very hard to break down whereas we play more open which suits them better. Although that depends on how knackered your players are after last night.

EDIT - just seen the below, which is a massive suprise to me because he is the police officer who travels away with us a lot and has a good relationship with most of our fans - don't think we'll be seeing him again though.

Oh yeah, it wasn't a poor penalty. Very unlucky if you ask me.

We've been playing weekend - midweek for weeks now, and most of them away. We're kind of used to it now! Although I think Saturday will be a step too far, unfortunately. If Tranmere get an early goal, they'll go on and get a few more I feel. Our defence has been massively key this season. Not been too bad going forward at times either!

Blimey, that's awful!

That's a bit rich coming from a FGR fan whose team play in a town of 7.7K and for the majority of their time in the Conference treaded water (being lucky to escape relegation on several occasions). So one season in League 2 scraping survival means that FGR are now officially part of the lofty elite and can look down snootily on teams in a play-off race (that for the vast majority of their existence they were nowhere near a part of) in a division below?
:D You do realise Chris is taking the piss?

A seven second clip of an eleven second video taken totally out of context. Spreading this shit all over social media is how policing is dramatically undermined in this country. No doubt an excellent officer will now get thrown under a bus for this, and it will be to the detriment of our relations with other clubs, given the huge amount of work Jason does to keep other forces in touch with our more idiotic element, who incidentally filmed this.

Police should be filmed as much as possible to stop them getting away with things like this. They're the biggest gang in the country and need to be held accountable for their actions just like any other member of the public.
