What do we reckon the attendance will be if Braintree join FGR in the final? I'd be tempted to go and cheer on Braintree if I wasn't away.

Manifest destiny.

You've heard of The Vision. But FGR are The Future.

I have already taken a dislike to FGR's manager though I don't know exactly why. But still, he's doing his job and has got them to Wembley. So why are they looking at Cooper, one of the most overrated managers in the game? Seems a tad unfair to me.

So this is what it's come to is it, relying on Paul Hurst to be the saviour of football? I'm not holding out much hope I'll be honest.

Dover nearly did it, so if Grimsby can keep it tight at the back then they'll go through. It's pretty much unthinkable they'll fail to score once again after 4 attempts playing Braintree. Law of averages and all that.

As someone said, Dover were unlucky, thought they were the better side for long periods in a generally poor game. That one that hit the post and rolled out or whatever looked in from the other end where I was. Still, that'll do me, we can't be worse at Wembley.

Yeah no way he would have managed to get through, and in so much style too

Enjoy your trip to Wembley.

Well done guys, though I thought we were awesome. Nailsworth is a lovely place too...reminds me of Boscastle.

You showed a lot of fight tonight, thought Ricky Miller was fantastic tonight, great banter between us and you lot, safe trip home and wish you and your club all the best whatever happens. Very nice bunch :)

Agree, very very close, there are some exceedingly good players for Dover, if Deverdics and several others arent snapped up by a league club next season I will be surprised. For me I thought it was an excellent game, from start to finish.

Emotional scenes at the end, doubtless more would have been on the pitch if it had been Grimsby Wrexham or Tranmere but only one of them can display that this season. :bye:

Cooper will be fine as our manager, hes been a club legend which is a good start. Talking of Cooper, saw Jilly Cooper at the game as well, see we are really attracting allcomers :fish:

I don't think he will, as far as I understand Scotty was placed in charge until the season finished, whether that had been tonight or next Sunday.

According to the front page of the NLP Mark Cooper will be in charge for the final. Ridiculous.

Well done to the veg and commiserations to Dover, wouldn't have begrudged them going up, great season they've had.

Suddenly feeling very nervous for tomorrow. I know we say this every year but it literally feels like now or never. For once we need to show Braintree the respect they deserve and put in a performance as professional as they always manage.

Grimsby and FGR should be the final really, just based on the squads and players available. You can bet on Grimsby to mess it up though.

If Grimsby play as they can it could even be comfortable tomorrow, as good a team as Braintree are.

Grimsby absolutely cannot concede first tomorrow. If they do, I don't see a way back for them - Braintree will shut up shop.

Could well go the distance.

That was amazing. Whilst in the midst of a pitch invasion, I had a small tear in my eye celebrating with the players. Who knew having Jon parkins sweaty armpit in your face could be the highlight of your year lol

Get up the docs and have your shots renewed tomorrow just in case.
