Why? No offence but the more unhappy you lot are the better for us, the less noise you make the better, its the play offs and we should do everything we can to win.

Because the average Dover supporter is about 90 years old and won't want to stand for 105 minutes in the cold with nowhere to sit and no refreshments. I thought it was a requirement to provide seating for away fans

I'm sure if you ring the club and express your concerns seating will be made available, no where has it been stated as Dover Fans have no where to sit.

We've been told we've only got the West Terrace, which has no seats and isn't covered. Doesn't really bother me but it is a bit inconsiderate and might put off some from travelling.

No offence once again but good, we're trying to do everything to win.

I'm not sure how putting off elderly away supporters helps you win the game but if that's the way you want your club to be then I guess that's fine

Will FGR be producing another questionnaire to ensure no Dover fans get into the home ends?

Gateshead's stadium doesn't have particularly bad views. Feels detatched, but then any ground does where there's little home support.

Unless of course you're Grimsby in the play offs and have to watch from an end nearer the Tyne than the pitch.

Because, despite not getting close to selling out for last year's semi-finals, you're going to fill the ground this time around? Turn it into a partizan atmosphere?

Its just FGR being unnecessarily unaccommodating again, Dover fans being stitched up as a result.

See someone on our forum says home fans can't buy seats in the A block of the main stand so hopefully that's been set aside for you, though not sure and they might have told you if it is.

from memory you have to allow so many seats to away fans or you're breaking the league rules...
still FGR are breaking the unofficial rules governing fans every single week by not letting them have meat pies!!

I agree with what you saying but poor grounds do exist in top two tiers, everton, crystal palace, leeds, brentfords grounds have seen better days
Agree with you about those, I have been to all but Everton from that list and Chrystal Phallus have improved their ground since my last visit. In defence of Brentford, it is one of my favourite grounds despite its antiquity, they are about to start building a new stadium at a site near the Hammersmith flyover.

Fans are allowed to have meat pies. They just can't buy them at the ground.

Agree that it's not great if Dover fans who aren't able to stand can't come. We all know we wont sell out the whole ground, if we couldn't sell out v The Gas we wont against Dover. Surely we can give them a few seats?

FGR have form for not providing enough seats, they gave us a massive 42 seats when we went there in September, leading to one old lady being caught up in the ruckus when we went 2-1 up and being crushed against the fence at the front of the terrace. This, despite a whole block being free.

If they had literally only had 42 seats then I might understand it, but when there was a whole block of a good 150 or so going empty then it smacked of just trying to get one over us.

That wasn't good, I agree. Was so much easier when the eesi stand was all seats, just give that to away fans and job done. The other problem was that we had a capacity limit placed on us by the local council, so we could only fill about 2/3 of the main stand. That's finally been sorted in the last few weeks.

Think there are/were plans to install seats in the north terrace, but with focus on building the new ground I'm not sure if that will happen. One thing that probably will is that a permanent bar will be built for away fans, instead of using the big red bus bar for big away followings.

I am absolutely certain that you have to provide seating. It's horrific if not. "Sorry you're disabled/frail/old" but we want every advantage we can"

Classy of FGRJC to defend it

A few of these on the West Terrace might do the trick.

That big bus was quality. Decent beer as well. Luckily the rain held off long enough as well.

There is a whole section of seating set aside for Dover fans in A section of the main stand.

That's the section away fans usually get. Difference is that it isn't next to the rest of the away support this time, so are they going to be allowed to use the facilities in the Main Stand?

Probably it's only 90 year olds and kids anyway.

Fair enough. Still shite that they're going to have to sit away from the rest of the away support

Which is exactly how it will be at your place tomorrow, and a lot of other grounds in the National League.

How is it? We give you half a terrace and the seated section next to it

Do you? Didn't notice on Saturday, but where our fans were stood on the right hand side of the terrace behind the goal seemed a fair bit away from the seats.

You'll be on the left side of the town end, where you were first half and it pretty much joins the seats you'll have.

We've restricted movement around the ground for the game so I'm not 100% sure where the bulk of our support we'll be. No doubt the idiots have their places ready right next to the segregation as usual haha.

We were on the right facing the pitch, so yeah call that the left. Was slightly smashed but got a couple of photos on my phone so will check back if the seats are close, you might be right.
