A few ominous signs from the club. Manager has tweeted that not all the squad have returned.

Not sure who is missing but this could be damaging to our chances as quite a lot of our squad are out of contract at the end of the season.

This was always going to be the case having play offs after players contracts expire end of June, why so long now until the play offs at end of July? Sure two weeks of training and away you go.

No point waiting until jan for the season to start, virus will be back in full circulation come winter according CMO Whitty.

We now know that several are missing. Of our three recognised centre backs we have one for certain, losing Sweeney and Reynolds is going to be a big blow. Going forward not looking too bad with Akinola, Walker, McCallum, Pavey and Mason Clarke almost certain.

We don't have a definitive list yet but I think we could be without Cheye Alexander, Reynolds, Sweeney, Sparkes, Adams, Vilhete, Elito, Coulthirst.

Making our lineup
Loach
Taylor Santos Johnson
Mason-Clarke Dunne Fonguck Tutonda
Walker McCallum

A bench of McBurnie, Pavey and some kids.

I can't see the council rejecting the decision. They're just dragging their heels when it comes to getting together to make the decision which is pretty common with these bodies.

The playoffs wont happen in the north and south

The FA failing to ratify the NL’s decision would be hilarious.

Are you scared of going down because you know you won't be able to buy your way out of NLN again.

Listen Bee sting, we dont worry about anything around here. It's a beautiful world and relegation isn't going to dampen my spirits. We're the mighty Fylde. The only team in the history of football to win both the vase and the trophy. We went to Wembley twice in a week, think about that. WE HAVE STARS ON OUR SHIRTS!

Given you'd like to remain in the National League, how apt you resort to the classic Remainer mentality.

REALITY CHECK: Brexit is happening and you're going down.:fl:

That’s quite inapt seeing that Fylde hosted a Brexit Party rally at their ground soon after Frog Face created that money extraction scheme political party

It's apt for the reason I stated. :ds:

On a side note, please remember that Tin Potters are not allowed to address me directly. For that reason, I won't be continuing this conversation with you.

Not as bad as feared

Of those rumoured to be missing we still have Adams, Vilhete, Elito and Coulthirst. Midfield and Strikers are fine, defence is very lightweight.

3 of our usual back 4 going is not ideal. Such a shame we couldn’t keep 1 of the CBs!

Time to go Barry Fry style & outscore the opponents with our 6 strikers (4 with very good records)!

Watching the League 2 playoff at Wembley. Why tf can’t you go and watch football in say a 5th full stadium, but you can go to a fucking pub?

Sometimes I have a feeling the idiots in charge don’t know what they’re doing.

My thoughts exactly when our club tweeted that they might show the play off game(s) at our ground, presumably in a bar.

Surely it’s safer to have supporters socially distanced outside in a 1/4 full stadium rather than drinking together inside (even at tables only etc)

The 2 managers fist pumping each other yet Curle then goes and shakes hands with about 20 players on the pitch.

The whole charade around what I've seen in the Prem has become a nonsense and we should be back as normal with crowds from August at this level, let's be honest.

The players are picking their own medals up off a table because there isn't a man in the world left without coronavirus capable of presenting them. Fuck me this is utterly insane.

The planned start to the season is right around the time all the scientists are predicting the second peak/wave is about to hit. So I'm not getting my hopes up on this September/October start date.

You just need to look at the effect that reopening pubs/bars has had on other countries to see that its unlikely to work out well here. If they're ''locking down'' Leicester after 600 new cases, Christ knows what they plan to do when we see spikes all over the country from pubs reopening.

The women’s game looks set to start in September but only behind closed doors, £1m injection from the men’s premier league to assist.

I fear we could be a very long way off seeing football at our level, I can’t go for a pint at our clubhouse Saturday but can’t stand outside with plenty of room watching a football match. Madness.

Judging by the knee jerk reaction to the Leicester situation I can see a spike once pubs and restaurants open, only have to look at the one guy in South Korea nightclubs and the carnage that caused to see the consequences of this is not taken seriously.
