So... I think we can go ahead and talk about this now!?!

Yeovil Town vs Barnet
Boreham Wood vs Halifax

Notts County vs Yeovil/Barnet
Harrogate vs Boreham Wood/Halifax

How are the other contenders shaping up? Can everyone field a team!?!

Our squad is back in training today.

Not sure if we have any absentees.

Only seen about 4-5 players in the club photos so far.

We should be ok, with the time off we managed get out injured back as well.
Hopefully the FA sort whats happening with the Trophy and we can get those games in before these take place, which I think start on the 18th July.
We really need to step up with interteam friendlies next week.

I'm guessing Harrogate will be able to field their new signing(s) from the day before everything stopped.

Seem to remember the last update on the Trophy being that it’ll be played, but not until there’s fans again, so probably at a random point during next season. Definitely won’t be any time soon.

Our locally based players were in today, the ones from further afield were travelling down today. Sarll has said he doesn’t foresee any problems with the out of contract players signing short term extensions. Murphy and D’ath should both be back from injuries as well which is a big boost.

Watched a few minutes of training this afternoon through the railings at the ground, ( training pitches been relaid and not ready yet) they looked to be working hard on little 3 a side mini games which are knackering with the intensity they were playing at, lots of movement and it was hot this afternoon.
Ardley is pretty thorough so I expect us to be fit but without a friendly or two who knows how we'll play.

Sounds like we've everyone available bar Devante Rodney who's due to sign for another club any day by the sounds of it which is a big blow for us.

Michael Duckworth who's probably been our player of the season is 50/50 after a dislocated shoulder a few months back. He's back in light training but sounds like it might be a bit too soon for him.

Think there's very little expectation our end but that usually tends to work in our favour. I fancy us on the quiet against Boreham Wood but Harrogate seem to be a bogey team for us.

We've had one relegation to the conference. How many have you had?

I'd like to see a fan owned Barnet survive in this division, with all of your 800 fans.

How many promotions from the conference have you had? Sure we've been relegated a few times but at least we've seen football league action in the last12 years!

are play off clubs allowed to buy players? that could be a little unfair potentially.

Thought I read somewhere that only players registered by the 16th March could play. Would be ridiculously unfair if teams could sign top free agents. Could make all the difference

Apologies, it looks like I’ve reignited that bitter Wrexham-Barnet feud. I hope someone’s informed the TSG.

Its just the harsh reality that we have descended to a state where we are even shitter than Barnet. Its a bitter pill to take.

Notts County better win this thing. We don't need more tin pottery stinking up the football league.

Hopefully Notts come back up -- The only team out of the play off contenders with decent gates.

We are fan owned. Our chairman has been a fan of Barnet all his life and that is why he bought the club.

Perhaps the league is allowing for pre-play off friendlies?
at this rate next season won't start until January as our chairman thinks

I think you may be right. A week ago there seemed no hope of friendlies. But now it seems we may be lining one or two up.

So who will be joining us in L2 next season? Usually it's only logical
to think the 2nd and 3rd placed sides will be in a better position due to them getting a bye to the semis but I reckon this very same thing could prove to be a handicap this year. Whoever makes it through to the semis will have played 90 mins of competitive footy already. And that's surely better than playing a couple of friendly games (though I'm not sure if Notts and Harrogate will be successful in finding decent opposition to play against?)

Will Harrogate have to rip their pitch up as agreed if they win them, cutting it fine to get a new pitch laid for resumptoon.

A few ominous signs from the club. Manager has tweeted that not all the squad have returned.

Not sure who is missing but this could be damaging to our chances as quite a lot of our squad are out of contract at the end of the season.
