That won't happen, the 4 horseman of the apocalypse will appear the day before we score 5 goals in a match.

That Wealdstone game was a total fluke. We were 3 up in half an hour, and scored a crazy own goal. 3 goals seem to be our thing at the moment. But Wealdstone away is one of our bogey fixtures. I would be OK with a draw at the moment there

Concord at home for us. Hope we annihilate the bastards.

Varney has said no key players will be leaving us in January. Good stuff. I reckon we will bring in 3 new faces.

Hemel 2-2 Wealdstone (Att: 751, estimate of 250-300 away)

The right result, although a completely incompetent referee did everything in his power to try and give Hemel their first home win since the opening day of the season. Hemel had plenty of the ball in the first half and a few near misses so I was pleasantly surprised to see Wes Parker score from our first opening of the game. We defended well to see out the half and went into the break 1 up.

2nd half was frantic, both teams really lacking composure as the tempo of the game increased tenfold from the 1st half. Hemel equalised from a penalty after Wes Parker rather stupidly tried tackling Oliver Hawkins who was running away from goal. Incompetent ref determines that to be a red card and off he goes. Hawkins took the spot kick to level the scores for Hemel. Quite literally from kickoff however we go up the other end and Jonny Wright (who was fucking outstanding today) headed in at the back post to spark bedlam in the terrace behind the goal.*

With us down to 10 men, Hemel pushed just about everyone forward (their #4 ended up as a makeshift centre forward) and their pressure eventually told on the 87th minute. Poor organisation from us and perhaps some clever thinking from ex-pro Matt Spring to send a corner on the ground on the 18 yard box for ex-Stones player Graham Montgonmery to rifle home.

*Made all the more funnier because some locals who turned up decided to stand on the brick perimeter wall and give us a load of wanker signs after they equalised. I think it's fair to say many of us took great pleasure in reciprocating the gesture some 60 seconds later.

Sutton go 2nd on goal difference following a 2-0 win over Basingstoke at Gander Green Lane.

10 points clear with a game in hand. Result.

Whitehawk away tomorrow. That'll be very tough.

10:30am pitch inspection planned for tomorrow's game vs. Sutton. I think it's safe to say that the game won't be going ahead then...

^^^ Possibly my favourite moment from yesterday, I still find it funny. All 4 goals are on the same YT account if you're interested in watching them...

You may need 3G mate. Is the weather that bad around Ruslip?

Think I overheard someone at either the ground or on Twitter state that the ground was rather wet and any more rain would mean it would be a struggle to get the game on.

I hope I'm wrong.

Saying that we are rapidly nibbling away at your lead.....;)

Yeah, I was surprised to see you creeping up. Couple of losses and it'll be interesting but not sure where they'll come from! Maybe Whitehawk.

TBH for us the main target is solidifying a play-off spot. We've won 5 and drawn 1 in our last 6 games, so obviously we're in a confident, happy place. It's extremely unlikely that we can catch you, but if we can maintain our current form, and with 60 points to play for, who knows what can happen.

If you continue and we slip up at all then we may need to be careful. Just can't see us slipping up enough though. And with a bit or luck, Jordan Parkes bagging a brace on Saturday will give him the confidence of early in the season that saw him score 8 in 10.

Fuck knows what's going on with the drainage at Grosvenor Vale, granted the weather's been dire in recent weeks but the weather hasn't been that inclement in recent days.

Oh, and our home game vs. Hemel has been segregated ffs.

Abuse from our fans apparently. They seem to be the only ones who receive this "abuse" on a weekly basis. Arseholes.

They do come across as incredibly self-important. I'm anti-racism, anti-homophobia and anti-sexist, but I don't feel the need to tell the world how bloody wonderful I am. That Hawks ultras Twitter account is 'interesting'

Just complete and utter morons mate. They tried crying Racism against us last season and, surprise surprise, nothing came of it.

Although I didn't go yesterday, I'd be happy if I never had to go there again. Looking at Twitter, one thing I found funny was both Official Club accounts were in agreement were in agreement that we dominated and deserved the win, then one local journo/fan believed we played that relegation candidates! Same bloke also banging on about abuse.

Didn't they try something at Maidstone the other week too? Words really do escape me with that lot.

They come across as trendy new Football types who have no comprehension of the game, and what an embarrassment they are. Tbh I'm lucky enough to have avoided having to go there thus far. Knowing my luck we'll get them in the playoffs

Search Hawks Ultras on Facebook if you fancy another laugh.

There's one kid on there claiming to be a Fleet fan and wanting to set up Ultras here. He's been to one game this season (Dartford away) and was bragging about how he supports Celtic and had a drum with Clacton FC stickers all over it.

What is going on?!?!

Why some of our ''fans'' did make a few stupid comments to the ''Hawk Army'' which consisted of about 20-30 people

After the game their twitter pages went into overdrive proclaiming we're all a bunch of sexist pigs, homophobes & complete scum of the world :ffs:

I'm pretty sure the one or two involved were shot down by your lot though, as would happen at any club.

They're just so precious. I get what they're trying to do, I do, but 90% of the time they are making a fuss about nothing IMO.

Yep a few people were kicked out & the club made a statement how this behaviour was unacceptable. Also 99% of the people on our forum stated how it was out of line and we dont want these scum following us

But no the Hawk Ultras made out like every Maidstone fan was a complete scum bag

Found this funny statement on one of the twitter pages
cMQcd7N.jpg

By their definition Wingate & Finchley with their 9 or 10 flags must be the best supporters in non league football

Exactly. I thought that was the case. It's all bollocks if you ask me. Would love to say I'm glad I never have to go there again, but I know our luck in cup draws!!

It's funny that, because you speak to a couple of other Whitehawk fans on Social media and they say how great the atmosphere was and they're glad we contributed to it (I wasn't there, so won't comment)! The mind boggles.
