Sounds like I missed a cracker tonight...but in an annoying sense aswell

2-1 up at Half time
4-3 up until injury time
Only for Eastbourne to equalise and make it 4-4..

if I went to that game would've been 2 consecutive 4-4 games I've seen after Wealdstone on Saturday..which was interesting to say the least! Despite Wealdstone being 4-0 up at one point I felt Truro actually deserved the 3 points!!

^^^^ Valid point, Truro had enough chances to win the game.

Maidenhead away this Saturday, 2nd visit to York Road this season. Inevitable that they'll end their rotten run of form against us, Alan Massey or James Mulley will score too.

Our game against Sutton has now been called off due to their County Cup commitments :(

Christ last year we were made to play a county cup game a day before a league game.....why cant Sutton do the same

Boo hoo.

Perhaps because the Surrey FA/Conference are more organised than the Kent FA/Isthmian. And people like us better

We once had to move a league game to play a Kent Cup game. Bit annoying. Think the Semi finals are pencilled in for one of our league games this year, hope they get moved.

Marvin Morgan returns to where it all began for him, on loan from Havant until the end of the season. One of my favourite Stones players growing up, I just hope he has the work ethic that he had when he was a whippersnapper.

Hotel booked for Truro on the final day of the season, 54 of us are making a weekend of it.

93rd minute winner by Alex Flisher!! GET IN

Wasnt overly impressed with Gosport to be honest. Maybe it was just an off day, but they certainly didnt look a playoff team

Same with the prolific Justin Bennett. Heard people saying how good he is but i dont recall him doing anything today

Anyways onwards & upwards...only 9 points behind Ebbsfleets now ;)

Maidenhead United 1-1 Wealdstone (Att: 524)

Jekkyl and Hyde performance, or for a better analogy - a proverbial game of two halves. We were all over Maidenhead in the 1st half and should have gone into the break with a larger advantage than the 1 goal we had (lovely volley from Wes Parker on a corner routine).

2nd half with Parker out injured and no defenders on the bench (tinpot), our creative threat Scott Davies was forced into Right Back and it really stifled any attacking intent we had. The hosts deservedly equalised from a corner and like us in the 1st half, were probably scratching their heads wondering how they didn't grab a second goal in that 2nd half.

A first look of this Oxford City side tomorrow night. I'm looking forward to it.

Edit: Few Maidenhead supporters on Twitter commending our support yesterday. Nice touch.

Would have taken a draw pre-game so can't complain, but the way we sat back (at one up) after they went down to ten was ridiculous. They never looked like scoring and then Kedwell went and handballed in the box in the 93rd minute. :(

I see Maidstone fans feel exactly how we felt two weeks ago. Last minute winner with the opposite side conceding a last minute equaliser. Swings and roundabouts.

St Albans at home tomorrow and Charlie Macdonalds first visit back to Stonebridge Road since leaving us for Southend 10 years ago. His last game for us was against St Albans!

Aaron Mclean is a fucking boss, by the way.

I'm not surprised he is as he did pretty well for us in League 2 and I would have been happy to see him stay with us til the end of the season.
But of a dramatic decline for Charlie, from League 1 to the National League South in two years!

4 goals in 3 games so far, and 2 of those games weren't full 90s either. Wouldn't surprise me if he passes double figures with ease. Great chance for him to bag a couple more tomorrow.

Would have loved us to have signed Charlie in the summer. Will definitely get a good reaction tomorrow.

Wealdstone 2-2 Oxford City (Att: 663)

Conceding these 90th minute goals are going to lead us unnecessarily into a relegation scrap. As proven tonight, when we have some movement in the side and play controlled football, we're more than a match for anyone in this league.

Should have won really. Oxford are rapid, oh... and their 11 properly mugged off the linesman to get Jonny Wright sent off in stoppage time.

Edit: Couple of pissed Norweigan fans in the 2nd half were brilliant. Kept inaudibly signing 'Jefferson Louis, why don't you come on?'

Sutton and Ebbsfleet both beat relegation threatened teams, a 2-1 away win at Basingstoke for the U's whilst the fleet won 1-0 at home to St Albans.

Sutton now 2nd

Another side who come and put 11 men behind the ball and we struggle to break through for large periods. I'll take the win.

Gutted I'm not going Truro on Saturday. We should have about 100 or so, which is a half decent effort IMO.

Selfish side of me wants to to be off, so I can go on a Tuesday night and then go straight to work!

He'll be at Stonebridge Road our next home game. He always seems to be around our gaff when he doesn't have a job.

I actually don't think he's THAT bad a manager. Just a total bellend. Spoke to him once, absolutely loves himself.

Looking back (my last post) I was probably a bit harsh in saying how we struggled to break them down last night. 20 shots with 9 on target compared to their 3, with 0 on target. Somebody is definitely due a hammering.

You can telll some of these Whitehawk ''fans'' havent got a clue about football

Just saw one of there ultras on twitter saying they should of been asked if Steve King should be fired
Just seen one now saying the board should be sacked

Dont think these idiots realize the only reason they are where they are is down to their board. If they weren't pumping stupid money into the club, they would still be in the county leagues

I can't offer any information I'm afraid, signed from Northampton some 2-3 weeks ago and hasn't featured for the club.

Well no wonder?! :):gmc:

Hahahaha! It was late, typos are allowed. Here he is in action:

I'm still in tears when he so passionately starts singing "Jefferson Louis, he scores when he wants."

In other news, I was at our AGM last night. It's the first time I've been to one and probably due to rumours off the field, there was a good turnout (over 100). Short story is the club really do have cash flow problems and even with our record playing budget (just under £5,000 p/w) we're right near the bottom of clubs in this league.

100:400 was also announced last night to prevent a possible budget cut next season of 25%, I'll be one of those 100 putting in £400 to cover the shortfall.

Suddenly it makes a lot more sense how we can have a player on dual reg with you guys (considering practicalities of logistics). I assume he still lives in the Northampton area so we are a useful option for him!

87th min sub in the first game on Tuesday and expect similar on Saturday (when we play the team in 2nd). Beyond this I expect that Nabil Shariff will become fit and the two will fight for places and hopefully both will challenge the current starting pairing (competition is good). Before he joined we only had 2 fit actual strikers (though our wingers are on form and one of the 3 playing very well could do a job up front IMO).

Pitch inspection planned at Truro for tomorrow morning apparently.

That'll be off then.

Our raid of ''highly rated'' Ryman players continues....we just signed Dumebi Dumaka from Grays

22 years old, scored 23 goals this season & West Ham were rumoured to be looking at him awhile back.....

Truro is currently still on.

Putting aside the selfish part of me, being off and going there on a Tuesday night in April to (potentially) win the league really appeals to me...

Weston-Super-Mare 1-2 Wealdstone (Att: 445)

Same scoreline as last season. Joe McClennan put the hosts in front before Marvin Morgan equalised for the Stones. Jonny Wright would nick the ball from a Weston player allowing Scott Davies to round the keeper and slot home the winner in the 2nd half.

Hemel tomorrow night (if it's on). UTS!

Beat Margate 1-0 tonight with a late Sam Beale goal, we also had a penalty saved in the first half. Feared the worst having Whitehawk, Dartford and Margate in consecutive fixtures, but managed 7 out of 9 points which is good going against those sides.
