Margate it is. With them likely going full-time in the summer I expect 'Gate to be right up there next season. Maybe we can poach some of Hendon's better players now as well?

I expect Sutton, Maidstone, Havant and Dartford to be up there challenging next season as well, then there's Oxford City who just missed out in the POs in the North.

Congratulations to Margate. As a Kent football fan, the Blue Square South or whetever it's gonna be next year is going to be a good division to keep my eye on next season.

Boreham Wood away and Braintree home confirmed for pre season. Oh the joys.

Next season will be so competitive. Strongest it's been for a while!

I'm sure a lower league club will snap him up, his work ethic is incredible and is technically sound too.

Pleased that you are back in the Conf South, where you deserve to be. Enjoyed our match with you 3 seasons ago and you played very well that day and it was only a goal at the start from Chester legend Iain Howard that secured the win. Great atmosphere that day to with close to a thousand in the ground irrc.

Ebbsfleet rumoured to be after Jordan Parkes as well, he'd be a superb signing if there is any truth to this rumour.

Our new home kit for next season, it's got a hint of Millwall to me. Not a fan but that may change when I see it the flesh, when the club badge and when the sponsors logo are on there, speaking of which...

Still no news on a main sponsor for next season, our newly appointed commercial team spoke to members of the Supporters Club last night outlying their plans. Hopefully we (as a club) see some movement on this shortly.

Player recruitment - nothing so far, Jonathan North and Tom Hamblin have penned deals for next season whilst I believe Matt Ball, Scott Davies and Jefferson Louis are still on contract. There is a brief press release on possible new recruits here - http://www.harrowtimes.co.uk/sport/...eputation_as_player_search_begins/?ref=twtrec

I heard this too. Where did you hear it? Would be a brilliant signing. Perhaps we are looking to offload Theo Lewis... we have 23 players on contract until the end of next season, still need to cut it down a little.

According to the local rag down there we have approached Whitehawk for FOUR of their players, but they remain hopeful of keeping them. Maybe one or two, but can't see us being after 4...

Hemel supporter posted it on the Nomads forum. An Ebbsfleet article popped up on my Twitter TL this morning saying any departures would be loans as the high wages have put people off. Any strikers who could do a job for us?

Yeah, made it onto our forum now that Hemel fans are talking about it. I'd gladly take him off their hands. He's been excellent the past couple of seasons.

I'd imagine Tyrone Marsh could be loaned out... possibly Theo Lewis and Alex Osborn too. Wouldn't be shocked to see a 'big name' player loaned out either. Maybe Langmead or Fish... nobody will sign any of ours permanently though due to their wages. I'd imagine Macca is happy to loan them out then let them to at the end of their deals next summer.

Richard Jolly has left the club, the right decision for everyone involved imo.

Not been that good then?

Had it confirmed we are defo after Parkes... along with Sutton and some Premier Clubs. Bromley? Dover? Maybe even Woking.

Steve Gritt has gone back to being our assistant manager with Dave Jupp returning to the Club as first team coach after following Steve Brown to Lewes.

Really like Jupp. Him and Macca together will have the players working hard. Not sure what Gritt adds to it other than a lot of experience. He never seemed to have any input when Brown was manager... perhaps that'll change.

Delighted.

If be scores half as many as he got this season then he'll be an asset.

Interesting to note that McMahon is buying proven players at this level and ones that have the potential to improve in leagues above rather than ones who aren't familiar with this level.

I'm awful with posting links on my phone but if you head onto Kent Online there's a good article with McMahon on there from Thursday. Basically he's had to walk away from contract talks because players feel he will offer 1.5k+ a week like Jamie Day did.

Jordan Parkes has always been good technically but he was always too weak to make it as a full-back at Football League level. He was treated pretty badly by Sorry Lanchez when he was with us though.

Whether it was down to Jordan Parkes himself or managerial genius Dean Brennan, Parkes has played as a central midfielder since joining Hemel. He was superb in the two and a half games we played Hemel, still think he's too lightweight to be used as a deep lying midfield playmaker that Brennan often used Parkes as, but going forward, he's technically gifted and his shooting ability is excellent.

This McMahon seems a bit of a tit. According to him, he can't get rid of players because of Jamie Day... and now he can't sign players, you guessed it, because of Jamie Day.

I wonder if it'll be Jamie Day's fault if you're not in the play off places at Christmas...
