But our forward line isn't short of forwards who were banging them in at the Ryman level. Fingers crossed though, it has been a long pursuit so Jay has certainly seen something in him. Would think this means someone leaving/going out on loan.

Hayes & Yeading 1 Sutton 3

Very pleasing win today in a difficult fixture. Took the lead early on via a Dan Fitchett header. Fitchett doubled his and Sutton's lead before the 20th minute after a goalmouth scramble. H&Y pulled a goal back on 25 minutes, but rarely caused problems. Jamie Collins made the points safe late on, following up when the H&Y 'keeper spilled the ball. Up to 3rd, with 4 league wins on the bounce (during which we've scored 11 and let in 1)

In other news Craig Eastmond and Tom Bolarinwa signed deals until 2018. Super pleased with that, especially Eastmond, who has been nothing short of immense every game.

Should be taking 500 really, but that won't happen. 300 if I was to guess.

Still decent to be fair. Concord at home for us with them bringing no more than 20 I guess. If we win our next 3 I reckon we'll have over 300 there.

Whilst Truro have confirmed they will be groundsharing at Plainmoor next season. Who knows, if we stay up we may get to visit there twice?

Cant see many Truro fans making the close to 200 mile round trip for a ''home'' game

Surely they could of found a rugby stadium closer to Truro to play at

That really is quite shocking and very sad! Even though I'm a Dulwich supporter, I live and work in Oxford and occasionally go and see them and have developed a soft spot for them. I wonder if they'll face relegation or penalties for financial irregularities?

Potential good signing for us, we signed Vasileios Karagiannis from Leatherhead

Leatherheads top scorer last season & top scorer so far this season with 15 goals.......could be exactly what we need

You've also got Dan Sweeney as well, who is a very good midfield creator, and scored 6 goals in his first 6 games for us.

Strange decision by Margate appointing Nikki Bull as manager

I thought they would of gone for a big name/experienced manager.

Shilow Tracey still trialing with Spurs! Currently in the States with their academy and has scored 2 in his 2 appearances and set up one. Hopefully they sign him in Jan.

Navigating the M25 tomorrow as we head to Chelmsford.

Few signings have been announced on our end this week, goalkeeper Sam Howes comes in on loan from West Ham, defender Jack Smith has joined from Hemel and another goalkeeper Joe Taylor has joined from Fleetwood I believe.

Last time i went to Chelmsford we lost 7-0

Was that when Big Jeff was there spending all and sundry?

Our visit there last season was on a Monday night when we were bottom of the league. 2-0 smash and grab win (in the driving rain) that started a run of victories which saw us climb out of the relegation spots.

Yeah they were being bankrolled at the point. Was the year they won the Ryman Prem with absolute ease... 07-08 season if i remember right

As for us, Four losses in the last five games & only 3 goals scored.....it looks like teams have worked us out.

Just not clicking for us. New boys look promising, the goals will come. We are sitting second FFS so don't understand a lot of the negativity.

50 or so H&Y fans present today. What's the point? They likely to be moving home anytime soon?

2-2 draw at home to Maidenhead today, good game although many will say we probably could have won. After letting in 2 goals in 5 minutes, I wasn't disappointed with a draw. 5 unbeaten in the league now, so looking OK.

Played Hayes & Yeading away last week, 50 home fans seems standard. Hope you bought 50/50 tickets. Failure to do so makes you a war criminal in the eyes of H&Y fans, even if you provide 75% of the gate as Sutton did last week

Chelmsford City 0-2 Wealdstone (Att: 874)

Superb performance from us, 2nd half especially where we could/should have scored more. Wes Parker and Bradley Hudson-Odoi with the goals to send the large away following home happy.

Bad day at the office for the Top 6 today I see. It appears to be really tight at the bottom in both the North and South now too.

Must have been a collective effort yesterday as I saw plenty of Stones supporters completely off their trolley. Apparently there were several of them on the platforms at Liverpool Street at around midnight singing inaudible Stones chants.

Highlights from yesterday. I was hoping they would clear up whether or not Jefferson Louis was indeed offside for his disallowed goal but the angle is inconclusive.

We had a Christmas do up at the pub and I was off on Sunday so it made sense to get absolutely rat arsed.

See an article on the Standard earlier than Spurs are looking to sign Shilow Tracey in January. Impressive considering he's not played a first team (league) game for us! West Ham and Charlton still interested by all accounts too.

''Guerriero was recorded, sitting in his Bentley in a local parking lot in February, making threatening statements about people he thought might be cooperating with investigators.

"Everyone has kids and everyone has a breaking point," Guerriero said, according to a transcript of one secretly-recorded conversation read aloud Friday in federal court in Fort Lauderdale.

Federal prosecutor Roger Cruz told a judge Guerriero made menacing remarks about a number of potential witnesses and their families, including some with young children. Guerriero alternated between intimidation and promises he would "spend money to protect" people who stood by him, Cruz said.

In an expletive laden message, Guerriero told a witness he had people "monitoring" anyone who could harm him and he also threatened to pistol whip another man, authorities said. The defense said the man he threatened to pistol whip was a disgruntled former employee who told Guerriero he was coming over with a gun to collect money Guerriero owed him.

During a meeting with one witness, authorities said Guerriero pulled out a photograph of a man in his late 20s, the son of a cooperating witness and indicated he knew where the young man lived.''

Hemel Hempstead Town v Havant & Waterlooville

Sutton United v St Albans City

Some tough games ahead for sides represented on this board. For my beloved Sutton, on paper we have the easiest Festive fixture list, with 3 games against the current bottom two (home and away against Basingstoke, and home against St Albans. Although our other league game over this period is against the team in 16th, who are only 2 points above the drop zone, it's away at Wealdstone, and we've gained 1 point from 12 over 4 visits since 2008. For me the aim is a minimum of 8 points (victories in the home games, and draws away from home). But given our current run of form, 6 wins in 8* in all competitions since the 1-0 home loss to Hayes & Yeading on November 7th with 19 scored and 6 conceded* (*if you exclude the original Concord FA Trophy game, which had to go to a rematch due to Concord's indiscretion, our record is 6 wins in 7 with 18 scored and 3 conceded) I'd like to think we can get a double digit points haul over this period (10). But obviously, and hopefully, we won't be taking anyone for granted.
Ebbsfleet have an interesting set of fixtures in this period, Concord home and away should be comfortably winnable, but Concord are capable of getting big results. Whitehawk v Ebbsfleet is perhaps the standout fixture over this period, and will be a big test of both teams creditionals. And Truro will be a tough game. Maximum points and Ebbsfleet can look to a relatively nice run to the title. 7 points or less, and some of the chasing pack may be able to taste blood, paticulary Sutton, Maidstone and Whitehawk (IMO only of course). For the Kentish stones on their lesser (;)) 3G pitch they have to deal with the new manager bounce from Margate, a difficult on paper away trip to Bath, and what probably could be a nice 3 points at home to Eastbourne. This could also be the period where Oxford's look in at the top may come to a end, with a tough double header against a good Maidenhead side and an away game at Concord

Tricky fixtures coming up for us. I'll take a 5-2 reversal against Sutton though.

Very good signing.
Yeah very happy about this signing

Kind of surprised we managed to get him to be honest. I thought he would of signed for a Conference Premier team

I remember Dover fans rated him highly & were hoping to sign him. Played for the ''Vision'' this season as well
