Honestly starting to fall out of love with football because of these incompetent referees. No doubt we’ll win another appeal but now we’ve got to play over an hour with 10 men and a goal down which should never have been.

It's a massive banana skin this. I can see FGR players coming out fighting with a 'we'll show you' attitude and being really fired up.

They're not the team they were at the start of last season but if we apply ourselves we should get a result.

I've got a bad feeling about it though...feels like we're going through one of our famous poor spells which always coincides with January.

I knew we'd come out like this and I knew FGR would be bang up for it. You can see it a mile off after their fans absolutely slated them the other night.

We're in a bit of a poor rut at the moment, so this was always going to happen. Let's hope we can turn it around because we've been second best all over the park.

Very disjointed from us. Some of our defensive work has been abysmal. The good news is generally we do come out better second half so hopefully can make some adjustments at only 1-0 we are still in it.

Absolutely diabolical performance, missing some quality through injury but we’ve been two yards off the pace which is unacceptable.

I imagine DC is going ballistic in there.

McGeouch is such an asset for a free, he's got plenty of mistakes in him but his good stuff is great and he actually moves the ball into the danger areas. If we had a few more of his standard we'd not be so desperate.

Had the away run out jacket for Xmas it’s “out there” different pattern to the away shirt it has images of the Vale entrance gate on it.

This is how a fair few of our games go. We can be very passive in the first half before trying to up the tempo in the second. Problem is you can’t really afford to give teams head starts like we have today.

I can't remember the last time we were dominant across 90 minutes, one half is usually the best we can manage. The whole thing of "not taking our chances" has been a recurrent theme, and I fear that may prove to be the case today too....
