You're the only supporter of an opposition apart from shambolic Barnet on the first day who's said we're decent.
We are hard to beat at the moment and improving.

23 points from 10 games since we set ourselves on fire at Halifax, and played Wrexham, Stockport, Boreham Wood, Solihull, Dagenham, Bromley, Grimsby, Yeovil and Eastleigh in that time, Southend the only one in the bottom half. Ridiculous run of form. Crazy run of fixtures as well - we’ve played 10 of the current top 12 in our last 11 games, and it would be all of them if Chesterfield wasn’t called off!

And Bromley… Read that bizarrely in that run (our last 10 games) we’ve played the teams currently in 3rd, 4th, 5th, (we’re 6th), 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th. And Southend, in 20th. Be very Notts to follow that up with a goalless draw at Dover

Senior out ill is a big blow for us. Last time we played Warren at left back, he really struggled on his weaker left foot in an abysmal display at Yeovil on the BT cameras. Hope it's not a bad omen.

Vale once again only on the bench. Suspect he will go back to Blackburn after his loan expires today. Had his moments but just not really worked out overall. Probably hasn't helped that's he played out of position due to Waters very good form.

but we created an absolute fuck-load of clear chances in the second half. It was great fun.
Penalty out of the blue aside, though, the second half was one-way traffic IMO.
Yes enough to win by six if not for them chances falling to our dancing on ice champion.
Jacob can vouch for me after I say the magic words, Matt Richie, Bury away 3 3

Senior is a massive blow. Provided a lot of the drive down that side this season. Either Warren or Benn will be out of position today.

Not sure on the use of Gilmour he has not played well this season generally

Fuck sake where have you come from? so if we'd have scored you'd would have scored six goals? not sure I follow your logic there. Did you just decide to go easy on us because the pen was saved?

Maidenhead and County Away and Yeovil at home. In each of these games we've had an early red card and they are 3 of our 5 losses this season. Im sensing a pattern.
The pattern is ill discipline.

Yes, we are definitely going to be unbalanced down the left side.

Gilmour flatters to deceive. Came with a good pedigree but has not really done anything noteworthy yet. Doesn't take on players, is not really pacey and hasn't scored a goal. His most useful asset is probably defensively. He does work back well in fairness to him but he's not really there to do that primarily

Chicksen clearly played onside by the guy in the middle and possibly the one near side as well who is out of shot, and a blatant handball, so we can put that one to bed. The third goal we’re not going to get a conclusive answer to I don’t think, obviously really close.

You see what you want to see with the 3rd, the idea that replay was enough for Wrexham to feel like they’d been victims of some great injustice is funny though. Parkinson demanding that an official has to be 100% certain is just completely unrealistic.

How's Wrexham manager trying to say that's not a red

Parkinson’s made himself look a bit of a dick, he couldn’t handle the pressure of Sunderland and it’s beginning to look a similar story at Wrexham.

Meanwhile, looking forward to to the glories of Grimsby v Halifax, not seen Halifax yet, looking forward to seeing how they’re second.

Looks over to me and the only man in line gave it straight away, just started trotting back to the halfway line without even flagging. But wasn’t even the decisive goal anyway, so meh. Absolutely no issues with the red, or sending off. Nice move though. And that’s the end of that chapter.

How's Wrexham manager trying to say that's not a red

I have no idea, his whole interview was mad. Still don’t know why people try and judge offsides without seeing a replay, you end up looking a right idiot. It’s a tough job, linesmaning.

Not sure what he was trying to say tbh If it is deemed a handball then it's a sending off, he seemed to be getting confused by the double jeopardy rule- which only applies to legitimate attempts to challenge for a ball. Put it down to his frustration, you set up a team and lose a player in 10 minutes.

I dont think its particularly clear whether or not Chicksen was offside in the run up to the penalty offence, or whether the ball for the third goal crossed the line and without VAR technology its not going to be cleared up. The goals stood and thats the end of it. Sometimes decisions go against you and sometimes they don't.

Marsden is a shit referee but he denied Woking what looked like a clear penalty against us in the last minute at our place, so swings and roundabouts.

Don't know where this offside stuff has come from, he's clearly on.

Halifax moving the ball *much* quicker than Grimsby so far. Grimsby players taking far too many touches, especially the nippy winger who doesn't seem to want to pass.

Is that Sousa? he's always rubbish whenever I've seem him. Just your bog standard non league winger- pace but erratic and no real end product.

Not a terrible game. Halifax are better are passing than us but no proper chances for either side. Pretty even.

Full backs are killing us. We clearly don’t trust Benn and Warren’s left footed so we just have no options to move the ball up the pitch like we usually do.

You won’t have seen it from your end but Fox just missed a sitter. Free Header maybe 5 yards out and he just completely misses the ball

Our fans absolutely love him and I’ve no idea why, great at running until he gets within 5 yards of the box.

We look the better side but yet again we’ve got no end product.

I guess those sorts of players are exciting until you realise they are doing nothing. Its why Jack Mackreth kept getting clubs.

That Notts player is absolutely miles onside for that penalty incident.

Watching the first half of the Halifax Grimsby game. Halifax look tidier on the ball but Grimsby look more dangerous I think. Taylor's a good cente forward at this level, good reference point for any team, reminds me a bit of what Quigley gives for us and what we don't have if Quigley is out.

That Sousa is a proper non league/lower league winger. Gets you half of your feet thinking is this the time he actually finishes something. Most of the time you end up disappointed but I'm sure occasionaly he get it right.

Probably can't watch much of the 2nd half tbf. Think 1 game either way will win it.

Come on the Grimsby. Ended first half well, take that into second half and they should get the win.

What’s happened to all the Halifax fans aswell btw? Doesn’t look many there after they brought 800 our way last week… those Wolves, Bradford and Mansfield fans busy this week or something? :dk:

You just described all non league wingers, that's why they are non league and not league players.

Efete is the same but he's a full back so can be forgiven sometimes.

Fox looks half a yard of the pace in both halves. Maguire-drew looks our best hope but not seeing much of the ball.
