I can't work out why a stranger would stay in this town while wolves roam. This is our town and we want to protect it. But why would Stagat choose to hang around?

He does make a good point about nails though. Nothing worse than a nail that sticks up. I just don't like nails though. Proper carpenters, like myself, will use a nice joint or at push a screw. I like a dovetail joint best. You can't go wrong with a mortise and tenon though. Both work so much better than a nail. I will keep an eye out but right now I need to finish that table.

Meanwhile, sat in my armoury, I've made a careful note who has requested Werewolf hunting equipment. I've steadily handed out crossbows and silver arrows/bullets to a number of the villagers, but some have certain people have chosen not to arm themselves. I wonder why that is?

The villagers awoke and assembled waiting to see who wouldn't turn up. Who had the wolves taken this night. Slowly it became obvious that everyone was here. The wolves had not killed tonight.
