Great result that we are all still here!

One thing has stuck out for me though. I think it seems likely that the wolves know who the other wolfs are, and are in contact with each other.. It doesn't seem likely that each wolf would opt against killing a villager?
Unless the person they chose to kill was protected?

Fair point, I just re read the rules and the wolves have to vote in a sort of points system.. It's just whether or not the second place in the points tally is executed, or like you say.. If someone is saved then no deaths.

As you were then! It's a good thing we didn't execute anyone needlessly.
I cannot announce that just yet as it is currently a work in progress.

I also vote Last Request for Mayor.

Any progress on this yet yellow? I am intrigued in what you're up too son.

Well at least we have some developments to build on with the whole Lee/Tom shenanigans. I still suspect the wolves out there aren't at the forefront.

Quick question: what is this angel that's been referred to a couple of times? Had a quick scan of the rules but couldn't find anything

In past games one character has had the power to choose one person to protect each night. If they choose the person the wolves wish to kill, that person is thereby saved.

In previous games there has been a angel that has the ability to protect one person at a time which means they can't be killed by wolves.

OOC: I'm not sure it's been confirmed there is one in this game but in previous games, one character has been given a trait where they can pick a person each night to save...if the wolves try to execute them then they will fail to do so.

In the cards version theres someone that can choose to save someone at random each night. So say a wolf tried to kill you the 'angel' could (by complete fluke) have chosen to save you that night so no deaths.

Nicely explained post Lee, seems rational (assuming it's the truth) and at the moment I'm inclined to believe you are innocent (and that Tom is also by what you've said). Might be leaving yourself open as wolf-bait though?

On what grounds? If he is to be believed then he had a one-off power that he used and now can no longer use. Yes it was a clever mind-game but it was purely as a result of his power.

To me it seemed rational for Lee to want to clear up the doubt over Tom (even if just to himself), yet also to try to draw some strange reaction from others by pretending Tom was a wolf. My only doubt is whether it really is a one off power?

A few possibilities on the lack of a killing tonight. Someone protected by the angel (if such a character exists this time around)? The wolves not reaching a decision? One of SUTSSs specific character abilities?

Whatever it was, as our shepherd and in agreement with our butcher SALTIRE, I am happily providing my largest ewe to the villagefolk. We need to keep our strength up. I just need to find Lukey first, but it should be served from midday in the tavern. Tuck in!

If it wasn't a one off power, I wouldn't have revealed it to everyone as I'd be at risk of being killed by the wolves. I'd have used it once, become part of the seer's circle in a quieter manner and then used it however many times I was allowed to find out information about more members. Unfortunately, I'm just an ordinary Tinker again now who happens to know who the seer is. Time to play strategy.

I still can't get over the speed in which JoeJoeJoe posted after Ciderhead earlier. It wasn't even as if he Oaf'ed him. He agreed with him yet it was posted an instant after Ciderhead's message. They'll obviously deny it but my gut feeling is telling me they're in cohoots.

Seems like the Angel is doing a good job. I reckon that the Wolves tried to kill me on the first night, and Tom on the second night and the Angel called it correct both times. This makes Tom look innocent in my eyes.

Joe and Cider, the spotlight of suspicion has fallen on to you two.

I'm not so sure. Lee's flip flop makes me feel differently.

Perhaps Lee's initial intention (after discussion with Wolves) was to attempt to throw Tom under the bus to give himself credibility, so that he would hopefully learn the identity of the seer. If the wolves find out who the seer is, it makes it very difficult for us to win, so it is probably worth sacrificing a wolf for.

It doesn't make sense that he would need the seer to get in contact with him before nightfall, fearing he would die, if the only thing he could say was whether Tom was a wolf or not. The seer could just check out Tom instead, and keep themselves hidden.

What then happens is that the suspicion turns onto Lee himself. The only thing he can do, now that he is under suspicion, and Tom has admitted to being a wolf, is to try and change his initial story and clear both of their names, claiming some sort of "mind trick" which would never have worked.

When it all goes wrong, they can only look innocent, after the wolves attempt to kill, if one of them dies. If the wolves kill someone else, then Lee and Tom look very guilty. Better to kill no one and have people assume the angel saved one of them (and I'm not even sure why the angel would do that, putting efforts into saving someone who if innocent has already admitted his power is spent, or Tom who keeps changing his mind on what he is, better to try and save the Mayor again).

Apologies for the long post! I just don't think we should be so quick to believe them now.

I think it is fair to say the wolves have been rather inactive thus far. Maybe they have also been inactive amongst our group discussions. I don't know perhaps recovering or waiting for something. My suspicions lie with those who have been keeping quiet!

Still don't feel theres much to go on yet. With Cards and Joe I cant see them being that daft that they agree they want to try and execute Tom then both vote at the same time.

As opposed to us having an angel could it not be that they don't know who the other Wolves are (or at least a large enough number of them dont) and they voted to kill one of their own? Dont know if SUTSS would tale that as a Wolf down or no kill?

Nope, it was work-related but I have decided to postpone in order to offer my (limited) services here for the time being.

Oh and I helped myself to a couple of rats for breakfast, you didn't seem to have anything else in :mell:

I think serious questions need to be asked of cider and Joe. They were the only 2 willing to sacrifice a potentially innocent mans life. Who else would have that mentality but a wolf wanting to kill as many innocents as possible?
