I say keep our discipline and keep voting no execution until we receive further instruction from the mayor.

Lee might have a limited number of times he can use his power. However can you really trust what you see in a Crystal Ball? All very strange.

I put my trust in things which are solid. Like wood which can be cut and shaped and joined. Polished, varnished, sanded. But we live in a world where we sit scared of men who turn into beasts at night! I have been sharpening the stakes but I have been told they may not do any good against something so horrendous. Maybe a glass ball is the weapon we have been given. Or maybe he is just a lunatic dreaming dreams in a lump of glass. I need a beer!

Sorry for such a lengthy absence lads, I've been a bit down lately you know with the relationship with the wench on tenterhooks and the family leaving. The tinkers comments seem very strange indeed.

On tenterhooks you say? What's been happening old friend?! Is everything ok?!

I'm unsure on the tinker. Something doesn't add up but I'm a Miller, not a mathematician!

Ah Rotherham Jousters, never posed much of a threat to me I must say. None of them even made the European Jousting League this year, held a few months ago on the continent. I won, I'll have you know.

Some interesting revelations cropping up. I too find the tinkers comments strange, and seemingly desperate for the seer to reveal themself.

Hi Jon. You may not have heard of me as I'm not from this town. I'm Lee Wilson - nomadic Tinker and SURVIVOR. And if there's one thing I'm not, it's desperate. This Tinker has game.

Those who need to know, know my game. I wish I could say more but my crystal prevents it.

Well there's one sure way of finding out if he's bluffing or not: execute Tom. Either we get a wolf straight up or he's rumbled and we can get him next. It may be callous to gamble with someone's life like this but it seems to me the easiest way to deal with this situation.

But I would suggest whoever the seer is doesn't reveal himself until we are sure this tinker is telling the truth

I don't think executing Tom on the say so of the tinker is a good idea. Sure, he could be telling the truth.. But if he isn't, we could be killing an innocent for no reason atall other than to rumble a potential wolf... I say we hold fire for now and see how the next few days unfold.

After all, the seer will be busy asking for clarification on certain peoples status.

Id say we wait, assuming the seer has confirmed LR is not a wolf then those two will be in contact and tonight they can check the identity of Tom and find hes a wolf or (presumably) LW is.

One word of caution with the above is if both Tom and LW are wolves and its some ploy to get LW into the group and find out who the seer is early on. Also its presuming that the genuine seer has contacted LR.

In fact, I'm going to officially vote TomPNE94 for execution. I understand why people would want to wait but I think we'd be better off dealing with this now, rather than let it drag on and build confusion.

And the way I see it, either Tom or Lee is a wolf. Can anyone see why Lee would be making this up if he wasn't one?

(Edit: believe I'm right in saying we'd need a majority for any execution to actually take place - so I won't be overruling everyone else should they disagree?)

I agree with cider. Vote TomPNE94 for execution.

Unless Cider is a wolf and is bluffing. Fuck this town and it's shady characters.

Why on earth would we move this early in the game and before we are certain? There are more of us innocent than killers. We can afford to be patient. We have more to lose by making executions than waiting. Completely bizarre.

I do believe it's a majority vote Cider. In which case you are very brave. I can't see many others changing their vote, and if Tom is indeed a wolf.. I'm sure you will be a target.

Well if cider dies then we know its tom, unless and wolf plays us and its not Tom.

This is far too confusing for a prostitute to deal with. I need guidance mayor.

Well this is all very interesting. I'll reveal a bit more information tonight before the 9.30 day deadline. I'm just watching and studying at the moment.

The game is on!

Because Lee has thrown a curveball into the mix, and it's an easy way to test the validity of his claims, rather than letting him fool people and potentially uncovering and disposing of the seer should he be a wolf.

Also I'd note, people saying we should wait and let the seer find out the tinker's identity. Say he's actually a wolf, how would the seer let us know we should execute him without revealing himself anyway in doing so? How would he know who to tell, who to trust? The wolves will be looking for this sort of uncertainty, to spread misinformation. Seems to me we'd be best off taking decisive action.

As said above, assuming the seer has checked LRs status then the info from the seer will be given through LR as they can be in contact outside of this thread. If LR is a wolf then its going to be tough

*but presumably the seer will try and find more innocents and contact them to try and 'overthrow' LR if that were the caee

Problem now is we've given the wolves something to play with. Not beyond belief that everyone involved here is innocent and the wolves can play them against each other.

True. The way I see it, whilst it may be possible Tom is not a wolf, by voting for him we will have gathered some concrete information one way or another - he's a wolf or Lee's chatting shite. Rather than being reliant on secret messages and potential misinformation

Why the delay? If you've got some information why not tell us now? I'm not liking this secrecy... the main reason I'm voting for execution so early is I'd like to get to the bottom of this, and you, right now

I know it can be frustrating at this early stage in the game to vote no execution. In a past NOTW I have been a bit over zealous to execute and get things going in the early days, and it brought unnecessary suspicion upon me. Just have to stay patient, trust me no execution is the best option for today.
