Never trust a priest, but certainly trust an executioner...

All those people who were beheaded because of witchcraft and now this. Never a dull day for me.

With work and Wrestlemania on, I'd forgotten about this, just catching up on the thread now.

I vote no execution as well since we don't really know anything. I see 1-2 have mentioned me as being quiet. I genuinely forgot about this thread what with Wrestlemania and work. When I've come on here, I've been looking in the Sheep and wrestling threads so my bad. I should be fully focused on this now.

My only suspicion so far is TomPNE94. He went very much out of his way early on to play the whole 'I AM A WOLF' jokey, reverse psychology card. Double bluff perhaps?

There's some right strange goings on up in the hills. Five times today I've seen regular wolves, but they seem less interested in my flock and more in the forest atop the hills. Strange goings on indeed.

Anyway, after realising my telegraph machine was nothing more than a peculiarly shaped log, I've made the decision to move my flock down from the hills and to take up residence in one of the bedrooms above the tavern. In exchange for the plumpest of my lambs daily to help feed our village, SALTIRE, our friendly butcher, has allowed me to keep them in his sizeable back garden.

I agree that for now we mustn't jump to conclusions about our neighbours and vote no execution. However, as my grandfather used to tell me; beware the boy who cried wolf.

My apologies, a communication error. I have been busy with 'rest' and making 'lemonade'.

Tom is a wolf anyway according to my seer like mystical powers..........

A seer would be a sure target for a wolf attack so it seems like a bizarre claim to make to say the least.

But then the angel (if there is one) can now identify that Lee's the seer and protect him.

"Seer like" dearest Bounty Hunter

There are also individual roles within your character that may enable you to do something extra. Not everyone has these and some are one use only, some can be used a select number of times and others can be used every game day.

I urge the seer to get in touch with me, before these pesky wolves kill us all, KILL US ALL I SAY!

Now, who needs any objects a-mending? I charge a fine price.

'seer like' doesn't mean he's the seer. But I reckon it's a thoughtless, throwaway comment anyway tbh and the tinker should know better.

I have no means to live to an old age. A nomadic tinker does not pay well. I have no family, my bones are getting weaker. Me old Ma, she used to be a fortune teller, she did. I have inherited her crystal abilities. Some days I can see the light, other days I just see darkness. Today I saw the light, TomPNE94 is a wolf. My sacrifice is for the greater good.

I would now tell the seer to keep quiet and not contact the tinker. He could be bluffing here and wanting you to contact him as a wolf himself, so he knows who to kill off first. He may be a psycho and have a pet mantis with this bluffing.

This rankles of deflection tbh, I have given my explanation for my earlier behaviour.

If the seer truly wishes to know the truth, he must view me in the crystal to see my gift. I urge him not to contact me until he knows the truth.

However, I would urge the seer to view his crystal and get in touch before nightfall. I saw some wolf droppings outside my caravan earlier, I fear they know of me.

Not really sure what to think of Leewilson's sudden appearance and his knowledge. Where has this come from. I'm not one to believe in crystal balls but what more do we have? Until we have more information I vote no execution.

Hmmm, the tinker seems very desperate for the seer to get in touch with him...

If you're so sure Tom is a wolf, why the vote for no execution?

I voted for 'no execution' before gazing into my crystal ball. I will be happy to change to Tom if the great majority also choose to. If not, then there is no point.

All the seer has to do is gaze into his crystal to see whether I am an innocent tinker or a wolf. Once he does this, I urge him to get in touch once he sees I am innocent. He needs to do this before nightfall however as I fear I will become wolf food.

Suspicious thing to me is that Lee's first couple of posts made no mention of seeing this through the crystal ball, then 15 minutes later he mentions it. I would assume that SUTSS would have informed people of their night investigation results at the start of this day phase - making it strange that it wasn't the first thing Lee mentioned as a 'headline' so to speak. Stranger still as has been mentioned that he went a step further and voted 'no execution'.

Got to say, having given it some thought, I'm edging on the side of believing your story. It seems such a strange thing to come out with if it wasn't true, given it could be so easily debunked. If we were to execute Tom and find him innocent, that would instantly put you in the firing line. So if you're a wolf and this is some kind of deception, I'm struggling to see what your angle is. Yes, you might uncover the seer's identity, but would it be worth sacrificing yourself to do it at this early stage, when we really have nothing to go on? It would seem a bit of an unnecessary waste, to me.

I believe I've come across this tinker before, in a now abandoned village once remarkably like this one. I found him less than honest and displaying a similar tone on that occasion too when circumstances had placed him in a corner. Something about a psycho mantis, if memory serves.

My gut feeling is to not believe him. At all.

Some interesting revelations cropping up. I too find the tinkers comments strange, and seemingly desperate for the seer to reveal themself.

Another way we could view this is that if the Wolves now kill the Tinker tonight, it would then suggest he was telling the truth, and then we would be fine to follow the suggestions he has made, and kill TomPNE94. (This allows for the Seer to remain hidden and not fall into a possible trap)

It could be that both of them are Wolves. The Wolves may have decided to sacrifice Tom as there is already heat on him. In return they think that they can ‘confirm’ one of their own (Lee) as innocent.

Sorry for such a lengthy absence lads, I've been a bit down lately you know with the relationship with the wench on tenterhooks and the family leaving. The tinkers comments seem very strange indeed.

But there wasn't any heat on a specific person so seems a bit odd that they'd decide to sacrifice someone so early? Cant really think what 'special power' lee could be on about having though. Shame the seer cant look into his crystal ball twice for the tinker and the hatter

I'd imagine a wolf being quite eager to convince to getting a few innocents executed, to speed the process of killing us off.
