The 2 terraces behind each goal were built to hold 4000 each but H & S put a limit of 2000 on them. The proper football clubs, like yourselves, are given honour of the Skircoat, or West stand which seats 2000, and used to be the home stand, with the option of also opening the North terrace if need be. Only the Tin Potters are shunted to the north end of the East stand, where we don't have to look at them, or hear them, and they can busy themsleves with whatever it is that troglodytes do when left to their own devices. :dk:
Cheers for the info. As I said, if we do particularly well between now and then I think we'll exceed 2000. If FCHT are aware that there may be in excess of 2000 away fans and wanting to maximise their gate receipts, would your club open them both up for ticket purchases at the same time? The reason I ask is that I suspect most would want to go on the terrace. If the Skircoat is a sell-out and there's only a couple of hundred on the terrace it wouldn't be as good (in my opinion). Obviously I realise it isn't up to your club to maximise my enjoyment, just to cater to my lower physiological needs. ;)

Halifax are a nothing club, only founded 8 years ago. Very little history in comparison to even Eastleigh :fish:
But in those 8 years FC Halifax have achieved 3 promotions and reached the National League play offs, which backs up his point about being ambitious no?

My point was more based around why he slags off FGR for having aspirations, and moaning they shouldn't be allowed to get into the football league.

I'll never slag any club off for having aspirations, however laughable, but the means they adopt to achieve them are another matter.:£

What you and clubs like you are doing is little different to those who take performance enhancing drugs to cheat genuine athletes out of their just rewards and means you will never have my respect.:£

H&S are wankers at times...no doubt about it.They should be increasing the amount allowed in to 4,500 if anything.

368 Southport at Chester.

Would have been a few more as a bus load turned up about half an hour late, most of them apparently pissed so refused entry. They kicked off which sparked a mass police presence and the chopper to hover over the ground for the rest of the game. We actually got an announcement over the PA at half time telling us they were being sent home. :bg1:

Big day out.

Over the whole season, nope. But 4 wins in 5 means we're back in touching distance of the playoffs, so could be worse I suppose!
You'll get that 5th spot. Called it last week and sticking by it.

Dunno, we'll see. Even if we do, we'll have to beat at least one of yourselves, Cheltenham or FGR, and I think we're some distance behind all three right now.

Ive said it before, Crewe wouldnt look out of place in this league at all. You'd probably put them around 6-7th in terms of size of club if they were to come down.
Hardly.
We'd be a big fish and a huge scalp for the others...if it were to happen.
Which it won't,by the way.
Got a cosy little trio goin' on over there with yourselves,Chester and Wrectum...that's kinda cute but we've no plans to be joinin' ya anytime soon.
UTA!

Yeah, you're really setting League One on fire aren't you?

It's a good job you've got such a great fanbase, that'll save you. Oh wait, even 'Wrectum' are averaging more than you, and they're two leagues below!

We've had a shit season,it's true but we ain't down yet and considering what we've had to put up with our gates are decent enough,I'd say.
As for Wrexscum...didn't they let everyone in free for one game or something?
