Why is your away support is so crap? Your home attendances are decent.
I'll take this. Simple really, they're not a real football club. Their home attendances are pathetic for a team that's spent 2 years at the top end of the Conference and are 400 a week less than a REAL football club that spent 12 months in the bottom 4 and is currently a full division lower in the pyramid, despite said club suffering a relegation in the process. The difference between a REAL football club and clubs like FGR is encapsulated in the fans of the 2 teams. For one set of fans, their club is a way of life: for the other set their club is an occasional diversion, if they can be bothered and if there isn't a decent game of Union to be found nearby. While FGR took 2500 to the national stadium for the biggest game in their history with a place in the Football League at stake, Halifax took 10,000 to see them win a trophy most Town fans regard as Mickey Mouse at best. While FGR struggle to take a hundred a few miles on a Saturday, Halifax are taking 500 or more away, even on Tuesday nights. While FGRs crowds are down despite a near promotion last season, Halifax's crowds are up despite a relegation. This will never change however much money Swampy flushes down the toilet on his hobby. Thanks for asking. :£:£:£:£:£:£:£:£:£:£:£:£:£:£:£

B2TF you are certainly predictable. Any chance to knock FGR's attendance, you'll take it with your repetitious posts.

Give it a break.

BTW how is Halifax faring in the National (N)?

Are they in promotion zone as you confidentially predicted many many times, or are Halifax doomed to continue play your northern neighbours for the next 18 months at least.

Demographic of the newer supporters will be a bit of it IMO, happy to come to the home fixtures but not yet made the club a big enough part of their life to want to travel away - would think the numbers travelling would be similar to back when the home attendance was sub 1000, take a bit of time for them to join in. But that's just a guess.

Don't flatter yourself, a question was asked, I provided the answer. Why is it a problem? All the money in the world will never make a club like yours a real football club. You're just a vanity project for a rich idiot. He doesnt believe you're a real club any more than I do. :£

Keep them in conference north for me. As for real clubs forest green have a longer history than Halifax been going over 100 year. When did Halifax form, 2008! Read there about there history or shall we say the old Halifax. Often seeking re election, relegated to conference twice and went bust no doubt owing loads of coin to small firms who will never see money again. It's Halifax that ain't the real club

Indeed. Them two won't bring 100 to York St combined.... not that our away support has been much to shout about this season

As per usual not segregated at GGL, but it looked to be about 25-30 hardy souls following Guiseley in a crowd of 1282

Officially 86 Barrow fans in announced crowd of 2236 at Forrest Green....
HOWEVER... Barrow fans at game say there were 124 Barrow fans (one went round and counted them) and the total crowd was probably closer to 1300....
2nd year on the trot Barrow fans think the overall crowd number was inflated by FGR??

86 looked about right for you lot but agree it didn't look like two thousand plus in the ground. Maybe a load of kids signed up for free tickets and didn't come. Did look a bit fuller than usual mind, eighteen hundred at least.

Or maybe the ambassadors were sent some free tickets, but they didn't arrive in the post until Thursday, so there wasn't enough time to persuade friends or family to take up the offer.
