2,500 at home but only 98 bother away, them home crowds become even more suspect.

Oh shut up, like Bloody Dagenham would bring anymore!!

You are just jealous that we get very good home crowds. Yes all FGR fans would like to see better away attendances, but it's the home support that helps financially, and makes a club viable.

Anyway I have not been away all season, although been to all home games, so I have massive respect for our fans that do travel to Aldershot in a Tuesday.

Someone on our forum estimated 60-70 Macc at Barrow tonight - apparently the official figure that was given (34?) only included the fans on the terrace and there were about the same number of fans again in the Main Stand.

Edit - someone counted fans on the terrace and it was 42, so I'm not sure there even was an official figure - would say 60 minimum.

Rattled, just stating facts pal. As a club you won't grow, money only takes you so far. You're the new Fleetwood.

No you are right. We won't grow, we have only gone from 1100 ave attendance to 1800 ave in 3 years.

FGR are growing more than any club in this league, so you are stating no facts whatsoever. Rattled? Not me Son. :box:

Who are you trying to kid? Your home crowds are shit too. Even ChrisFGR accepts the 2000+ last week included the seats left empty by up to 1000 unactivated free tickets handed out to local schools. Your true home average is less than 1400, and bettered by 7 clubs in Conference North. By your own criteria, your club is unviable- how many people through the gates do you suppose you'd need every week to provide your £3,000,000 playing budget? Wanker. :£:£:£:£:£:£:£:£:£:£:£

Now I don't mean to intrude, but surely we are the club growing the most in this league? From all attendances being sub 1000, in the last 4 and a bit years we've grown to getting 2000+ at home almost every match. Yes the attendances will shrink a bit whilst the new stand is being built, and yes if our current run continues some of the fairweather fans will likely leave, but it still won't dip that far and I expect we'd easily still have a higher average attendance than 1800.

So fucking what? Why do so many seem concerned what other clubs do? As long as bills are paid what does it matter who pays them and how they are paid, as long as it's legal. Don't tell me you wouldn't lap it up if it happened to Daggers, even if it was only for a short while.

Thought we'd take more to Wrexham, but it's no an ideal cross country trip on a Tuesday night.

Fleetwood seem to be doing alright. Wouldn't mind doing what they've done, and neither would you.

And you are no less tinpot then we are, possibly more given you're a multi merged club made up out of a host of tinpot clubs rolled into one. Your crowds in the football league, home and away weren't great at all, so why are you chatting shit about ours?

Reference your tiresome repetitive posts about REAL football clubs with reference to Forest Green Rovers.
Let’s have a reality check:
................FGR............................................................FC Halifax
1889 (127 years history).........................................2008 (8 years history)
Top of National League (30 pts) ............................8th in Nation League NORTH (21 pts)
Ave support 1,511 [10th in NL]...............................1,714 [3rd in NL(N)
Population of Nails worth – 5,800..........................population of Halifax – 95,000
Average local support – 26% .................................Average local support – less than 2%
Admittedly FGR support is slightly below National average but is better than 18 NL(N) teams.
It would seem therefore that FGR is the REAL football club and not a pretender that FC Halifax clearly are. Nearly 120 years of more continuous football history, supported by a far larger percentage of the locals – a percentage that must make B2TF green with envy (whoops – green is colour of FGR’s shirts :fl:)
And in actual fact FGR have been playing top level non-league football over twice as long as FC Halifax has been in existence. :2thumb:

To reiterate my other tiresome posts, The Shaymen have a continuous history over a hundred years, see the FA for further details. I don't need Wikipedofile to support my points. Swampy knows he's flogging a dead horse in your village of the strange, that's why he wants to get out of there. Come back to me when you've can muster 10,000 for a trophy even your diehards think is Tin Pot.:bdick:

You don't seem to need actual facts to support your point either it would appear. You aren't called FC Halifax out of choice, so claiming a continuous history sounds like bollocks to me.

And even if that were true, it's not like your history is anything too special anyway. You are hardly fallen giants or out of place in non league. Which makes your obsession with bashing tinpotters even stranger.

It is just about to happen to us actually and I will get no satisfaction if we buy leagues/promotions. Football has lost it soul even at this level.

Where did I claim our crowds are great? I can say whatever the I like about anything its a forum, I don't expect everyone to agree with my opinions.

Do ya hell. Formed in 2008 so a NEW CLUB! No doubt some firms are still owed money from the previous incarnations demise. Whos the tinpot club now

If you wish to argue the point, please take it up with the FA. That goes for the rest of you too. Thanks. :bdick:

When you've done 70 years in the Football League, we'll talk some more about this if you like. See ya :£:£:£

Why oh why do some of our fans embarrass themselves so much. We REAL football fans wouldn't care whether we had loads of money or are skint. Whether they are reformed or a club on the rise. I'm sure if FC Halifax had the money of Fgr you would start having a rant at 'tinpotters' with no money, B2TF. We really aren't as bad of a football club as people think. I know it's retaliation to the ignorance of B2TF but just so people know, we have a slight behaviour problem within our fan base but most have been banned recently and we aren't all like B2TF.

He will now reply with a rant about me 'siding with the tinpotters'

Now you are telling porkie pies to justify your negative posts.
Dale Vince if anything is more passionate about the club than when he took it over a few years ago.

Great to hear from a decent Halifax fan. At the end of the day everyone here supports small clubs, some smaller then others, which is great given how easy it is to glory hunt and support Prem teams instead.

Not sure why some feel the need to bash those that do make the effort to support a non league side, however many it is.
