Maidstone have allocated 600 tickets for both us and Lincoln... ffs, I used to quite like Maidstone.

Turning away home fans for away fans wouldn't quite be fair would it? We may need something from the game ourselves so there'll be extra demand from us because of that and a big name side, so it's not inconceivable that 3,400 home fans would want to go. It's only 600 more than went to the Barrow game last week.

I reckon if we're safe by then tickets may find their way up north, the new stand is plenty big enough to give you more and still give us use of it, it's just as it stands they could be massive for us.

Both would have only needed 300 last season....

We may still only need 300! Our attendances seem to have actually decreased from last season, despite the title race. Nobody has jumped on the bandwagon quite yet here on the Wirral.

I suspect that the match against FGR on Tuesday will be one of the biggest midweek games yet. And that will include our massive two-dozen hard-core away supporters.

Will be more then that, website says first coach 1 off being full and possibility of a second one running, which has happened a few times recently cos we're massive, depending on interest.

I can't believe that, awful turnout. Must be a mistake, it's only 50 miles away ffs.

Depends which figure your talking about. 119 is pretty impressive, 112 is piss poor.

Yeah, it's pretty poor, but 50 miles is a bit of a con - have you ever been on the roads from Macc to Southport, it's a 2 1/2 to 3 hour round trip in the end.

Like trying to travel anywhere local around London where traffic moves on average 13 miles an hour!

Away Boreham which is about 30 miles away next Friday. Hour 45 by train or an hour 15 by car.

Yep for our play off final v Bristol Rovers in 2015 we booked a hotel in Wimbledon because we got a great deal and as I'd never driven in London before I naively decided the best way was to drive straight through instead of going around...... haha never again it was horrific and also one minute you're in the correct lane then suddenly it becomes a bus lane and you have to get out quick.
Lesson learned for 2016 final just drove down on the Sunday morning instead, much better.

I suspect your affection for Maidstone will depend more on how well they play against you (and Lincoln), rather than how many tickets you get.

Although it is a case of what goes around, after our incessant whining against Ebbsfleet before the play off final last season. I got my ticket for that one from a relative.

Interesting it said in Macclesfield programme that Lincoln took 318 earlier in season on a Saturday,
Lincoln fans was slagging our Away following in trophy but we managed to take 320 on a crap Tuesday night,
Did a bit of research and both 60 miles from Macclesfield.
Not quite - it's closer to about 90 miles I'd have thought.

It's quicker to get to Manchester or top end of London than it is Macclesfield. It's either a long, winding 40mph journey along what seems a never ending 'B' road through the Peak District or a longer route going down to Nottingham, across to Stoke and up to Macclesfield.

Macclesfield fans can vouch for what a bastard of a trip it is.
