Unofficial estimates are no worse than so called official figures plucked out of thin air when games are not segregated

I'd imagine it being a fiver in probably bumped it up a bit.

Only found out it was a fiver yesterday, bit late to decide on a long trip like that one. I think Barrow was our only sub-100 away gate last year.

Our fans are quite often better than our team

From the 4 home games so far, Tranmere have had a grand total of 295 visiting speky's through the cowshed turnstiles. Think we must be getting the lowest numbers in the league.

If it wasn't for Maidstone visiting (803) it would be us. Around 20-30 from Fylde and Gateshead, probably the same from Eastleigh today too, although I wasn't there so just a guess.

At least when we come up you'll see an away.... hold on. Tuesday night on the telly? 150, tops.

Forest Green Rovers had more fans at Wycombe yesterday than any National League team managed to take away on the same day. :eyes: #Englishhoffenheim

They're also one point off a relegation spot. I know it won't happen, but wouldn't it be hilarious if they came straight back down? They'd have to buy this league all over again.

Neil Aspin seems very disillusioned at Gateshead and mentioned the lack of support there several times in his pre and post match interviews for our game. Anywhere else was bound to be a comedown after getting The Shay rocking again but he's so lonely up there he came over to salute us and test the waters at the final whistle. Some Town fans honoured him with a round of "Neil Aspin my Lord" but Billy's got the backing of most of us, now.

Barrow and Wrecsam are the next two visitors to PP, so visitor numbers should be bumped up a bit. Current form means the home turnout is slumping though and a sub 4k crowd for a NL game at Prenton Park looking likely.
