Christ. Barely 10 more in total than our lowest away following. Might as well C&P this into the tinpot thread.

Obviously unsegregated but looked to be roughly 400 York at Chorley

Doubt anyone will get lower than the 13 "B WOOD" at barrow this season.

Are the NL deciding to get the long trips out the way with early doors this season?

Wasn't at the game against Eastleigh, but pretty sure Eastleigh Fan could tell you. Brought away 20-30 here last time if I remember rightly.

There are so many teams at corners of the country
We have away games at Gateshead [Oct], Wrexham [Dec] [23rd], Chester, Fylde [feb], Barrow [mar]
Home to Hartlepool, Halifax [dec 29th], etc

We both know there were more than 36 Moors fans there yesterday. There were at least 50.

You can go with whatever you like, i'm just stating the official figure which is based on how many went through the away turnstile.

I don't see the point in that away turnstile as you still have to walk to the other side of the ground with the home supporters to get there.

I have to agree with you regarding the 'advisory' away turnstile at Aldershot. Half our fans for the past 3 years have just ignored it and entered through any turnstile, as there is effectively no segregation, rendering the 'official' away figure pretty pointless and about 50/60% of the actual number of away fans.

It's not really advisory, all away fans should go through turnstile 4 although if people aren't in club colours i'm not sure how it can actually be policed.

Are you only going to have one turnstile for us in a couple of weeks? :conf:

No, turnstile 4 is only used where the away team are expected to bring less than 100. By going in the front it means we don't have to open the away end at the top of the hill and therefore reduces steward numbers and costs. Since the away fans still have an area to go to, it is sort of partial segregation.

Since I am expecting close to a 4 figure turnout, you will be going in the turnstiles at the top of Redan Hill and be fully segregated.

I think it's the right thing to do in terms of not needing to fully segregate the match for small away followings from teams like ourselves and Solihull. I just think that when full segregation is not in order, then for the purpose of these away following statistics, it's probably better to use an estimate than the 'official' figure, which is proven to not be accurate.

I'm not having a go at Aldershot - I'm just a sad bastard that is interested in pointless statistics like whether Macc take 40 or 60 to random far flung places and like them to be accurate. :bg:

Tranmere types, the game here on the 16th is all ticket for away fans. Think you've got 803, same as what Maidstone had.

Should be more than enough. I think we will bring 4-500.

Any idea why the game has been made all ticket for our fans ? After all, it is 240 miles away, we are in September and we are eighteenth in the league.

Going back to a much earlier point - myself, my mates and at least a few other Barrow fans were sold home tickets at Fylde when we were trying to buy away tickets...
Don't know if it's a widespread problem, a secret ploy to keep away numbers down, or just an incompetent fuckwit working the away stand ticket office that evening.

I might be wrong, but I think it was one of the five Cat A games identified by Kent Police before the season started. Yourselves, Maidstone, Dover, Orient and I'd say Bromley after the trouble their "yoof" (more likely Palace kids, rather than Bromley mind) caused here last time.

Are we likely to be segregated when we visit next week?

Again wasn't there myself on Saturday (Wales v Austria saved me) but going by some estimates 100 seems to be the number arrived at for Maidenhead. Well between 100-120

I'm requesting that you no longer give the official figure of away fans, for Shots home matches when the actual away end is closed. As it is clearly wrong.

Come on fellas, there was clearly FOURTEEN more Solihull fans at alderhshot on Saturday.

Heh. Maidenhead under-reported ours by at least 200. Guess that's the way of things down here, considering most clubs don't even seem to be able to print their own tickets.

Over 850 sold for Boreham Wood on Saturday, so should be another 4-figure following.
