Most had already booked trains before the TV had been decided, luckily it was open returns. A few groups were staying up local for weekend or week as it’s a holiday destination for us London/Essex suburb folk and only an hour and 50 drive. It’s one of our easier non local games. Hardly any home fans, probably 700 max.

Thanks. I haven’t seen that official, but given the total attendance was given as 1700 it would support the Notts figure based on Weymouth’s usual home gates. Think they had 849 v Maidenhead.
