Fuel problems in London curtailed our away support today. Those that stayed away were the fortunate ones. A shambles today.

After a few beers last night, I was considering getting up at 5:30am to try and find petrol and then drive 8 hours there and back. Thankfully saw sense and realised it wasn’t worth it.

Credit to the Torquay club official who picked up 3 of our supporters at 2:50pm from the station after a nightmare journey down.

I’m guessing that the petrol issues are mainly down south then as i put £30 in my car on Sunday with no issues and no queues and then I filled it up again Thursday morning as we were going to Alton Towers for a couple of days and again had no issues or queues at all.

Yep, certainly South East. Solihull had no issues at all, filled up today before the game. It's been a good week or more now since I've seen an open petrol station that didn't have a queue at it!
My step dad was in Cornwall last week and also had no issue getting fuel.
It's odd really, one of the largest fuel storage and distribution centres in the UK is Purfleet, you'd think places further from it would have more issue than everywhere around it.

London and the Home Counties is still a major issue for supply. Ridiculously I need to get some before Tuesday otherwise I won’t have enough to get to and from Ruislip.

May have been announced as 25 , but there was actually 41 , so a bit of creative accountancy from the bean counters , although there were issues enter the ground as the scanner refused to work

Can't remember if you're up in GY or not but you've got to remember we've got two huge oil refineries in the area which will definitely be playing a factor.

Can't remember if you're up in GY or not but you've got to remember we've got two huge oil refineries in the area which will definitely be playing a factor.

I've seen other people saying this but I can't see it would make that much difference, only in the journey time for the tanker once it's left the refinery, which is only going to be a matter of hours. The south east wouldn't be served from Killingholme I wouldn't have thought and I don't think being local gets the north Lincs petrol stations any priority deliveries. Could be wrong of course.
