I've found an estimate of 150 Welling at Alfreton. Probably worth seeing what DarkSithLord thinks though.

Yep, and then look at Eastleigh and FGR numbers today.

Says the fan of a club who brought a piss poor 133 to our place last week, which is less then half the distance our fans had to travel to Gateshead for an equally important game, and yet is only 28 more.

We'd have had 250 odd at your place. glass houses People stones throw in shouldn't.

Irrelevant at this stage. We took 300+ to Grays for a crucial relegation match a few years back, and 400+ to Tamworth the year after. With or without free coaches, a lot (by our standards) will still travel for the big games.

Our coaches are amongst the cheapest in the league anyway, I think in general it's time constraints rather then cost that dictate uptake. Wouldn't be surprised if more travel more regularly next season having seen what they've been missing these past few games.

Are you missing any Southport figures Cardsfan.

I bought a programme there on Saturday and it lists all away attendance for their home and away games.

They have a website called Southport Stats which lists all of them, so I have them all. Really appreciate the effort though mate, cheers.

Ok mate, no problem, A shame all teams don't have a similar site. Would make things a lot easier.

We'd have brought more if we were allowed a meat pie.

You are allowed one. You just can't buy it in the ground. ;)
Quite a lot of people just bring their own food now. Even seen 1 or 2 with pies stashed in their back pockets, obviously can't cope without a pie for 2 hours lol.

And the fish and chips are top notch, so it's not all veggie rubbish.

You don't half talk some fucking shit Chris!! :ffs:
With the poor form Macc have been in their effort is much better than yours with free coaches!
Peniltimate game of the season knowing two wins guarantees a play off place, most teams would not need to offer free coach travel to get some decent numbers. :ffs:
Trying to sugarcoat your shit support is simply laughable! :£ :box:

I wonder why "Chris" supposes their coaches are "among the cheapest in the league"? :£ (Hint)

Why is it ok to eat a fish but not a cow? Fish are people too. :bdick:

The poor form which still meant that with 3 games to go it was in their hands to make the play-offs when they came to us, having had a brilliant season considering their budget.

I've never said our support was great, but we do well considering our catchment area. My point was that it was a bit hypocritical for a Macclesfield fan to be ripping into other teams support when their own is shit.

Had the coaches not been free, we'd still have got decent numbers at this stage, as has been proven in the past.

Agreed slappy....should have let them in for free. Top effort if this had been a one off, but these poor souls have been playing twice a week for months

Record attendence for a conference game expected saturday ( league game anyway ) with the home ends sold out ( around 11,200) and 100 or so alfreton fans. Dunno if I should be proud or embarrassed

I mooted to Shahid weeks ago that we should have let everyone in free last night, as a kind of thank you to the fans who have enjoyed another toilet season of utter dross.

Definitely proud, it shows that even though you dropped out of the Football League your fans haven't deserted you, even when you had a bit of a dicy start they still turned up in droves. I would say that it is a pity that your ground is so small that you will probably have to turn people away, at least it will act in your favour when trying to get planning for a new ground. If you do go up this season it may be that you look on your season in the Conference as a spring board...who knows where you might land!

A ground with a capacity of 11,200 isn't small!
The Hive's official capacity is currently only 5,300 although there is room for about another 1000 more on the terraces.

Good luck with that Gas, I saw the dissapointing renders but a new stadium can be a huge boost for a club and one the size of Bristol Rovers really ought to be playing at a higher level.
