Nolan’s ‘4 yards outside the box’ statement is a embarrassment, he clearly couldn’t be arsed to watch it back.

Manager in immediate post match emotional biased opinion shocker after last minute concession ! Never heard anyone else do that on the radio before

Didn’t realise you were new to football Conks

At least both managers behaved themselves and acted professionally on the sideline throughout the game. No embarrassing theatrics from the away dugout this time :)

Was so refreshing not to see Fatty Fat Boy and the Splash of Ginge in the 4th officials ear continually.

Well done David and Kevin

It appears that another fat guy in a position of power that made himself look a tit yesterday.

Poor Alan hardy and his tweets. Oh dear. Firstly the tweet, and secondly his basic lack of understanding on maths, Bless him. And losing money all the while, ouch

Come on Adam, he’s practically slimline compared to your recently departed mercenary manager.

Maybe you should show messrs Hardy and Radford your bank account and business empire, show them both how it’s done !

Come on Adam, people in glass houses and that. You're bankrolled by a wealthy owner and his company, but I'd fear for you if something went wrong there. I mean, he's already been banned for 'lack of competence' and his firm fined hundreds of thousands for 'mishandling clients' money'. Who knows what could happen in the future?

We were awful. Flitcroft needs to sort this shit out or we will soon be out of the top 7. We are a shite long ball team. Think we had 2 shots off target in the second half before the 97th minute from Hemmings and Rose. Bar County’s chance before the goal I don’t recall a real chance from them either. Not sure what game Nolan watched if he thinks that was a terrific performance.

Got away with it in the end, need at least 6 points from our next 3. With Luton and Accrington being our games over Easter our top 3 chances could be just about over if we don’t beat at least one of them.

Had to laugh at Martin shaw's match report summery, 'a deserved point because Mansfield played well for the last fifteen minutes'

I thought the same, it was more like the last half hour, where we just pretty much had total possession.

Nolan seemed as bad as hardy - it wasn't in the box (camera angles say it was) and the goal shouldn't have been given at 8 minutes (7 orignally given mainly due to county's time wasting) then there was an injury and 2 subs within that time - so therefore it was valid.

Nolan and hardy have again provided much entertainment to Mansfield fans with their inaccurate bleatings

Fair play, the Radfords and Evans (til he left) have provided plenty to those down the A60, and I feel sure Flitcroft will in the coming months/years!

What people always seem to forget the time added on at the end is the minimum not the maximum the ref will add if something happens during that time of course more will be added.
Looked a pen to me his arm was in the area if even if some of body maybe wasn't.

Yeah, the arguement about the added time is ridiculous too. County started to timewaste in the 46th minute and I predicted 6/7 minutes beforehand.

Nothing at all was wrong about the equaliser.

I saw no problem with it, the handball nor the timing. Couldn’t see where the player was in relation to the penalty area even from my excellent elevated viewing position. But definite penalty for me.

Agree with David people always forget its minimum even commentators on TV

Why people are so surprised that a manager and/or chairman are outspoken, biased and disagree is bizarre. Plenty of deluded views from Managers over the years at Notts, I’m sure Mansfield have had plenty. I know your last manager was guilty of biased views in colourful post match interviews. His attitude pre and post match was often night and day. I have no idea about your current manager, would have to ask Swindon and Bury fans but regardless he’s doing a fab job since coming into the pre season title favourites . He’s really made a point so far ;)

Kevin Nolan does sound like a child a very mardy one at that!
If he was delighted with Notts performance... jeysus! What shite have they been serving up then!!??[emoji15]
I had a funny feeling the game would be poor, as for us, well we are worryingly inept of any ideas.
Just get back to bloody basics FGS!
When we did relax a bit and just played an easy pass and moved (last 20 mins) we suddenly looked like we could get a goal,
Albeit a penalty, but we created that scenario from a bit of measured play and patience.
Take note DF!
Onto Forest green where 3 points is an absolute must.

Can't understand Nolan's beef about the decision, tbh. It's not exactly a natural position for the players hand to be in and whilst his feet are out of the area, his hand is in it.

I'm assuming he must've seen a replay of the decision before his post match interview, especially in an incident like that.

It's more cringy every time you see it, if that'd been evans no-one would have battered an eyelid. It's a penalty, it's as clear as day - it appears we've passed on the undignified manager mantle to someone else.

The common concensus by Mansfield fans is that the win would have put clear daylight between us, and it would have been a first home win over us in 2 whole decades - something he and County would have basked in for sometime.

Alas, the lad made a stupid mistake - all players do at some stage - and the pressure is catching up with him and he's lashing out.

Our problem of late is that points don't win prizes, a win loss sequence to now until the end of the season would see us into the playoffs, it would be better than continuously drawing.

Luke He was upset and clearly frustrated by the 99th minute goal. Surely that helps people understand the interview?
Jeez, you don’t need Columbo’s help to work that out. It’s not the first time a manager or player has said something like this.

Love how Adam is desperately trying to make it something bigger than it is lol. How many times have you watched the interview by now?

Please don’t compare Fatty Fat Boy Evans to Kevin Nolan , that’s like comparing Mansfield to Nottingham. Yuk!

If we had won we would of surely released a DVD of the game, recorded a song, produced an array of merchandise, a statue of Hawkridge would be erected outside the ground. And the fans would of sung about it for years to come. Or maybe not, maybe just 2 extra points.

I disagree Mansfield’s biggest problem is (potentially) the new manager. Like a a balloon slowly deflating since taking over. Fortunately for them FGR will allow them to play their Liverpool-esque free flowing passing and high pressure football so DF will finally get his first win as Mansfield manager.

Both sides appear to be stumbling and limping into a play off spot at best

I know that, the point I'm making is that for such, what he felt was, a contentious decision at the time and given that he'd have expected questions on it after the game, surely he would have taken the time to watch the incident. He obviously didn't and I can't understand why that was.

Had he seen a replay, his interview would've had a different tone and he wouldn't have said something about 4 yards outside the box (if that was the case, I haven't listened to his interview).

We have to compare Nolan though, he threw his dolly out of his pram after Notts latest loss at field mill this season - even when top of the league - and did so embarrassingly again on Saturday. He must have been looking at evans and learning (just without the many titles) given Saturday.

His interview I saw twice incidentally - I'm sure when the dust settled and he looked back hed have realised he made a mistake and looked pretty daft. It's nice to see though, least it shows passion.

I hope our point doesn't paper over the glaring cracks we've got right now.

As I said elsewhere Luke, he'll have realised he made a mistake and looked pretty daft to everyone concerned. It's certainly gone down well it north Nottinghamshire.

Must be a slow news day in North Notts then lol

Many titles? Shame he couldn’t hang around long enough to win one with Mansfield he seems to gain promotion everywhere else. That is so Mansfield.

Oh and you do realise Evans is 20 years older than Nolan don’t you? Give him time it’s only fair , and if he fails and doesn’t succeed as a manager he can always fall back on his impressive playing career. Unlike Fatty McFatFat.

I can only imagine what it would of been like for me and my fellow supporters if Evans and Raynor had been on the sideline for that 99th minute penalty :bang:

Although if those two hadn’t stabbed your Chairman in the back and run off to the Posh at such as critical time in the season:bye: I doubt Mansfield would of been 1-0 down come injury time  you would of been winning and moving level on points

If they’d not done the dirty and fucked off I believe we’d be in the top 3 now. Flitcroft needs to get them up for the last 9 games. We’ve not looked impressive for more than a 5 minute spell in any of his 3 games so far.

Totally agree, nobody wants 3rd at the moment and Evans would of been all over it by now. You could easy envisage Stags winning their last 3 if he and the ginger puppet hadn’t done the dirty on your club.

And I mean the dirrrrtttyyyyy , awful timing fat boy, awful

More than likely, it's good that we can still have the belief to keep going so late on. I can imagine the 99th minute leveller being awful anyway, had county not time wasted so much there wouldn't have been the time, but oh well. Architects of their own downfall, I'm sure they'll learn.

I hope we're all around in 20 years to see if Nolan wins as many trophies as mr evans, with Nolan looking every bit the part of an evans junior Saturday, he's already matched him for awful sideline behaviour and embarrassing comments, maybe he'll win the same amount of league titles - it could have been one already this season, but he started choking -

However, I'll give him his dues, he's done a good job so far this season, especially knowing hardy needs promotion to fund that massive gap in finances.

Anyway, we must move on from another away day in Nottingham without defeat and plan for forest green on Saturday, probably a much sterner test with the form they're on!

You think Kevin Nolan’s sideline behaviour has already matched Steve Evans??

Wow! Put that one in the record books folks lol. The fountain of football knowledge does it again.

When did it ever look like Notts would win the L2 title? Who suggested that to you?
I know all the bookies had Mansfield as clear favourites, and...........
Evans has won a fair few titles and lots of promotions, and unless Flitcroft can finish the job off, he’s done neither at Mansfield. That must be a rarity Steve Evans not taking a side up after bending a Chairman over and spending big , Mansfield would join Championship side Leeds on that front, right ? That would be so Mansfield if Stags don’t go up. Not very Evans like lol keep living on his success at all those other clubs Adam.

The only thing you are right with is that promotion for either side would be a huge financial bonus. And both needed with Big Al spending heavily on Notts and the Golf/Wedding venue and Mr Radford well having to subsidise those huge 4000 home attendances . Ouch

Ouch indeed. It's like going round in circles.

Not sure you're what folk would call a fountain of knowledge though, unless it's about Mansfield, where you know oh so much. Do you hide in the bushes outside field mill and see what's going on. I think mourinho once described such behaviour as being a voyeur. Maybe that's what it is!
