The Brannagan signing was planned by Michael Appleton and Eales went out to scout Buckley-Ricketts so very much the boards.

Just stateing facts. Go and find me a team on league 1 or 2 with a manager from abroad thats never played in england but has done well at that level
The fact is lower level clubs rarely chance it with foreign bosses so it's an unfair comparison however just for arguments how many BRITISH managers are a success at League One/League Two level, it's usually the same dozen regurgitated around clubs.

Proper buzzing to see the Swindon fan clutching at straws. Gets knocked back time and time again. Like his club.

Christ, it doesn’t take much to get you buzzing, then. The football at the triangle must really have been that shit.

Nah, you should avoid the drop, I reckon.

Nice to see you going backwards, though.

Let’s be honest, you don’t sack a manager if you’re doing well.

We’ll be back next season, don’t you worry about that.

According to a Hibs fans twitter page, we've made an approach for Neil Lennon. Whether rubbish or true I do not know.

Why did you have to insert the Spanish bit into that?

We had a bit of debate about the term project re Carlos at SWFC, apparently it is an Iberian thing calling it that, whilst we may not like it means no harm.

Err, because he's Spanish. I would hardly call him a German loser would I?

Seems a strange time to sack him. After the 7-0 would have been the time. Now you’ve got to find a new bloke which will probably take up the remaining days of the transfer window. If I was a conspiracy theorist I’d say it’s because your board don’t won’t to spend much.

How’s Obika doing?

He's a waste of space. Big strapping bloke, who falls over every time the wind blows. He's also a sick-note, who's always injured, or at least claims he's injured.

He's been decent up until the last couple of games when he's been pretty far below decent

Certainly not good enough to be first choice going forward

He looked the perfect hold up frontman in our play off season. Whether he saw the others get their moves higher up the food chain and he didn’t he downed tools I don’t know. Looks like it, though.

Supposedly according to some bloke on Facebook we've interviewed Frank Lampard, Paul Clement, David Unsworth and Steve McClaren on Friday and today. Supposedly they did the interviews at Oxford City as believe we have offices there as part of our tie up with them.

I suspect utter gubbins.

Would suspect that those would be likely candidates (well three of them) but not sure of the accuracy, as Darryl (our chairman for those that don't know) was still out of the country on Friday.

Would the job appeal to either Clement or McClaren? both would be expecting Championship level I suspect, Lampard could be a goer, a decent sized club to cut his managerial teeth at. Unsworth probably thinks it's not close enough to his native North West.

McClaren ended his playing career/started his coaching career with us which may provide a link as to why he would consider it.

Clement is utterly left field and not sure about him if he is a genuine candidate which I reckon not. But then if the bookies are to be believed Simon Grayson and Mark Warburton are possibilities.

Whilst mcclaren was shite in his latest jobs in the top 2 tier maybe would not be so bad if he was willing to drop down to l1.

Quite randomly Craig Bellamy has made the betting lists for our job. According to a reporter from Sky he has already said he isn't interested which is good because I wouldn't want him.
