Wasn’t particularly our night tonight. Not sure how we didn’t score but got to blame ourselves really. Rotherham suckered punched us three times at the exact right times, Fair play to them for that.

We were shite tonight and got lucky, far too much long ball on our part and too negative with 1 striker all game, good job Scunny didn't take those chances otherwise it could have easily gone the other way. I hope we don't play like that in the final because we will get beat for sure.

Well for a team who played too negative with one up front and far too much long ball, you did remarkably well to get 19 shots on goal and 6 on target (same as Scunny) and wrap up the tie nearly half an hour from time when it was still 11 vs 11, a bit of a harsh assessment surely?

You could turn that on its head and confidently say that if you play at your best you'll stand a good chance of beating a team that have scored fewer goals than you with an almost identical goal difference, and one that you have already beaten this year.

From what I've seen, either Shrewsbury or the Millers would have to strengthen to survive upstairs but the Millers know that anyway having been at that level just 12 months ago.
Are the current side better than the last side to gain promotion to the Championship?

Isn't the final a repeat of the freight rover final from about 10 years since?
Sure I remember Rotherham beating Shrewsbury at Wembley.
Would prefer Shrewsbury to win as it's one of grounds I have never visited and the Rotherham/ Blades thing is a bit nauseating.
On the other hand NYS is about 30 minutes drive from my house.
So don't really care, good luck to both teams.
Hope it's a good match, with the best team winning.
