What block are you mate?

140, nice combination of view and atmosphere I like to think! Pretty much a mirror image of where I sat in 2007 too. Yourself?

131, went for near the singing area but more of an angle. Not sure if I've mate a slight blooper as I'm right at the front of the block as you can't choose what exact seat you want, hope I don't have a crap view.

It's Wembley, of course you won't have a crap view.

i.e. Row 1? If it helps I was literally a few rows back in 2007 and it was absolutely fine! Quite a few further back than that this time around.

Yeah I was worried that the 'singing area' itself might not be brilliant in terms of seeing all of the pitch, especially if you're in one of the front rows.

Depends if I have a man in a big yellow fluorescent jacket standing infront of me.

I was more thinking for moments up the other end, to be fair.

Yeah mate, row 1. I do have a bit of an angle so suppose it'll be alright, didn't want to be sat directly behind the net but probably would have preferred to be a bit higher in an ideal world, still - only myself to blame and absolutely can't wait!

Last time I was right on the half way line and 7 rows from the front. To be honest, it was a little low

A lot of people I've spoken to in the last couple of days are not going due to the cost of tickets and travel (£35 each on the coach), and these are people who go regular home and away so I'm a bit worried we are gonna be vastly outnumbered on the day.
We're going down on the Saturday for a day in London :£:£ and staying over so will be even more painful :£:£ if we lose! :conf:

Yeah think I'll be down on the Saturday, a day doing the touristy/shopping stuff, a night out and then Sunday is pure football day.

I understand people have money troubles etc but in the biggest game of our history I'd break the bank to see us. I can't get my head round any regular who can physically get there, not going.

I wasn't planning on going, could afford it at a push but seeing as I'm only working weekends atm it would see me dry for a while and it would be disastrous if I made the sacrifice and we lost, especially as I consider myself a horrible jinx. Not sure I'd forgive myself if I don't go though. Gonna leave me skint for a while but as you said I just can't imagine any Town fan that is at a push capable of going staying at home. It could be the last time we ever get to Wembley, at least for many many years.

I am going in the neutral end. Hopefully the fellow 850 bees who brought the vouchers will still go. It will be good to sit with lots of other bees while not having to worry about the result as we can just enjoy what should be a cracking game of football.

I heard grimsby sold in the region of 1000 on day one of sales, we sold around the 8000 mark. Lots of people i know have dropped out of going due to the costs!! £40 match ticket, £30 for the coach!

I don't think there is any solid talk on how many we've sold. 8,000 seems a bit premature. I'll wait till we hear more official figures.

Thats poor by your standards, I was expecting at least a sell out on the first day with your past where thousands have been locked out...

I don't think there's a lot of rush from us to buy tickets seeing as we won't sell out, it'll be a steady stream of tickets being sold ending at around 18k I reckon, could be a little less. As mentioned a lot of people are put off thanks to the price.

Just booked travel and accommodation, will be getting tickets in a few days. The past two times I've been to Wembley I've done both the whole weekend as well as just the day, I don't think I could ever travel to and from Wembley on the same day again. It is horrendously painful if you lose.

I believe he means we've sold 8,000 tickets in the Grimsby end after our end is sold out, of course.

On a serious note though, do we have 8000 ST/SC members? Expect it to go mental tomorrow when it hits general sale

Probably not quite that, but I bought four for an example and the others who I go with don't have ST or SC, thought I saw someone get as much as 15.

Ah yes forgot about that!

The thread on gas chat about how many we've sold is hilarious!

My ticket with my did has been purchased. Block 133 row 22. Happy with that! We wanted to be with the singers but not right at the front behind the net. Excited now!

40 quid a ticket....seriously?

Incredible, but I guess people are willing to pay it unfortunately.

I didn't realise the difference in price between the Vanarama Big Day Out and the general tickets would be so great!
I got mine for £10.

£40 quid is ridiculous, they say it's because "money gets distributed to the league teams". It's such a small amount that surely it's irrelevant.

Surely they'd be better off selling tickets at cost, more people go, might get hooked and improves exposure for Conference and its partners.

We've sold 10,500 to season ticket holders ( 4 avaliable per season ticket holder) should go over the 30,000 mark tomorrow after general sale

What a great day out last time was. I think I've watch Igoe's goal 100 times since 2007!
