Class game this. The Bristol Rovers we know and love rolling back and forth on the ground as usual.

Was that a dive? That was a big decision for the red to make.

Puddy should be off, think the Taylor one was correct. Ok, McKeown does catch Taylor's ankle, but the fall just isn't natural. It looks like a dive to me.

Both keepers should be off probably. And Grimsby are so lucky as they don't have a sub one, such a needless risk to take in a match like this. Taylor is a brainless fool though, first he doesn't square the ball for a tap in and now passes up the chance to score because he wants to get the keeper sent off. Though there is contact there.

The standard of defending from these 2 sides is criminal. Aren't they meant to be the best defences in the league?

How can you argue that the referee didn't know if it was going in?

Puddy didn't know if it was going in or not, and took that risk - it's a clear red card.

As for the dive - 6/10 for that one Matty Taylor.

His left foot was taken out, so it's a penalty.

Milked the dive big time though which is probably what convinced the ref not to give it.

Taylor's a fool.

There's contact but just fucking score you knob.

It's probably a pen but just stay on your feet and put it away

Read what you've just written. It has to be on target or it's not clear is it.

You can't send someone off in a final over a decision you can never be sure about

The law says clear goalscoring opportunity, not a clear goal. The ball was heading towards goal and the keepers intervention meant that the opportunity was intentionally denied. Red card.

Taylor is making himself look a right bellend today.

Init, pure mindless idiocy. Just put the fucking ball in the net and put your team on course to win promotion. Don't put your chances in the hands of the referee.

Rovers probably shaded it after a shaky start. Cracking game to watch with some comedy defending.

Meh, who needs him when we've got THE BEAST.

Tbf I have to admit Taylor is a quality player and was too good for our defence, but if he spent more time trying to actually score as oppose to rolling around on the floor he'd be even better.

We've been poor in my opinion. On and off the pitch. Playing worse than we should and quiet. Need to step it up second half. Having panic attacks

Stay calm mucker!
A gas mate of mine was still in the pub at 10 past 2 as he thought it was a 3 o'clock kick off. He isn't the sharpest tool in the box to be fair to him.
