Don't bother with raising the CP of anything - it just wastes stardust as you'll find much better as you progress.

I find the bottom right menu to be useless. Today I caught three squirtle and a Charmamder, none of which were on the radar.

So you can actually get all 3 starter Pokemon?! I chose Squirtle, I just got to level 11 today, and have only seen another Squirtle twice since. Had no clue the others were even an option.

I can't say I played anything other than Pokemon yellow and R/B/G so I really don't know much other than the originals!

If you ignore the 3 starter pokemon you will get a pikachu

I've got all of the 4 starters, but all ridiculously low CP. Only got one Pokemon over 1,000 CP at the moment, a Lapras I hatched from a 10k egg.

On level 14 now, with a few new Pokemon I can evolve. Waiting for the level 15 lucky egg for that though. Got to get those extra pointz!


On another note...Comic-Con had some Pokemon Go news...

• Trading is being worked on! Hanke jokes they have to make sure the servers can handle it before they implement this feature, though.

• Pokémon Centres and customisable PokéStops will be coming to the game in future updates.
• New generations of Pokémon are going to be introduced. Niantic want the game to last for years so we don't know how long it'll be between each new generation, but we can't wait to catch a Torchic.
• The moves your Pokémon has before it evolves do influence the ones it has after it evolves.
• A fan complained about gyms being 'poached' and Hanke acknowledged this, saying Niantic will look into it.
• Another frustration the team is aware of is the '3 step bug', that will be fixed down the line.

Solved my Pokestop problem, my friend informed me there are 6 in my village (all within walking distance of her house and not mine I might add!) and there are 3 on the little shopping area near where I work, so I had a little detour home last night! Funny, as I spotted so many people about as well who were so obviously out for Pokemon as well!

The same friend (who called me and her boyfriend sad this time last week btw...) has proposed a Pokemon hunting inspired drinking session in town tomorrow night...this is going to be so bad!

Trip to Cardiff helped a bit today, got a Jynx, Seaking, Magnemite, Golduck, Seel and my egg hatched into a slowpoke, turns out where I'll be living September, the living room is within the boundaries of a pokestop where Hitmonchan's and Squirtle's are nearby.

Finally managed to get enough candies to get a gyrados today. Also got the last eevee evolution I needed, a flareon.

My Lapras was about 950CP. Got it over 1,000 with the candies.

Had a Growlithe hatch today. With the candy that came with him it turned into a nice 50. Nicer still is that after using said candy I only gone and got:

Gym behind the office today was occupied by someone who was level 33 and had an Arcanine with 2541 CP.

The fuck. A GPS hacker I assume but even still.

I really need some different types, we've got a canal next to my office and people drop lures all day so I have Slowbro, Golduck, Seaking, Starmie all over 1000 and enough candy to level them up whenever I need to. Would be nice to find a few fire or electric types though - I read that fire hang around in warm places or on beaches, surely not. Just wanna Vulpix man, I'm not going to Skeggy to get one though. I caught a Growlithe in town once and not seen one since.

What level are people?! I'm 16 and haven't got anything anywhere near 1000+ out of an egg.
