So yeah.. Still waiting for it to appear on the UK App store.

Read some crazy stories about this lately. A Police station in Australia was overrun with people trying to get inside to catch a Pokemon as well as random meet ups in local parks at 3am, people stood in the middle of busy roads almost getting run over trying to catch em'

Anybody played or will be getting this?

There's a trick to download it now, but i honestly cba making a new american applie I.D. I'll just wait

Know a few people that got it and are catching pokemon in random places, but I also know it has already caused a few accidents by people being idiots regarding the game, so yeah could possibly cause more chaos that it's worth going forward.

I want this game, but some stupid locations here in Peru for the legendaries. They placed Rayquaza in Cerro San Cristobal, that's the poorest part of Lima. I'd have a bigger chance getting robbed in Cerro San Cristobal then catching a fucking legendary Pokemon

it's mental this, people in town are just stood around on their phones. Some Chinese students were spamming lures in Market Square which attracted a load of people to just sit there and reap the rewards. I'm still not comfortable enough doing it at that level, I caught a few walking the dog this morning though.

You'll need to create a new email Add. Sign out of the App Store, change the region from settings to australia.. Go back to the App Store and download any free app.. It will then prompt you to create a new Apple ID.. Do that making sure you use your newly made email address. Once you've done that it will change the App Store to Australia's and Pokemon go will be available.

I'm trying to figure out how to download it here in Peru, I've tried creating an Apple ID in the USA and it asks me for an address and a phone. The address is fair enough but where am I supposed to find a phone number where I need to be sure they WONT call?

Being a fan of Ingress, Niantic's original game, & nostalgic about the Pokemon series I downloaded it off of an apk mirror in the UK. It's not bad... still not a finished product though as much more will be introduced as the time goes by (actually releasing it globally would be the first milestone).

The idea of mobile games (as in mobility, not your phone) really interests me because I try not to be a lazy bastard where I can avoid it & they are great for getting out of the house for no real reason. There's another AR game in the development stage (not being made by Niantic) called father.io, which will just be insane... first person shooter AR... check out the trailer for that one.

Yeah, that's it for me, it's good because it seems very new and fresh but I think after a couple of weeks people will be left wanting more from it - to me the concept is superb but the levelling up, evolving and gym aspects (which pretty much is Pokemon outside of catching the things) all have really weird systems and could have been much better.

Man, this game is actually becoming huge. Even as 1FF's biggest Pokemon fanboy (yeah I am, fuck you whoever thinks it's them. Fight me) I was skeptical about it but I'm seeing so many people playing it, which is incredible considering the fact that it's not even out yet. Pokemon feels more relevent right now than it has in a long time... probably since Red and Blue first came out. It's making a proper come back thanks to go.

I'm just off of level 5. I have no Pokestops near me and none on my way to work, either. Fuck you, life.

Unlucky. I have 4 in close proximity to me and 2 gyms

I can see it being a long while before I'm able to do the gym but though. On level 5 now but the people that hold the gyms are a lot stronger than me.

I'm out in Cyprus and my data does't work so I' struggling at the moment, there's a Pokestop near me which is just in WIFI range so I'll pretty much just be stocking up on poke balls until I'm back in the UK in September.

Nintendo's stock price is up 25%. Installed on more phones than Tinder in the US (5.16% of Android phones!) and is set to overtake Twitter for daily users. Pokemon shouldn't be this relevant.

Always seems so often that Nintendo shoot themselves in the foot a bit though. They've managed to get something trending massively, but for some unknown reason only decided to initially release it in 4 countries. Surely a simultaneous worldwide release would have been better for this.

Downloaded it this morning. Working in E1, there's a shit load of monuments as expected, just took a 5 minute walk to the local coffee shop and gained over 100 pokéballs.

No sign of any Pokémon yet though... will grab some breakfast and check out the hotspots.
