Pokevision was killed off with the latest update, along with most other 3rd party Pokemon Go helper sites. It's a shame because without Pokevision or the steps, it's impossible to pinpoint a pokemons location now.

Tell me about it, I was in Nottingham at lunch, near the station and I had the outline of what was clearly Mr Mime on my radar but I was stood there stranded, I could have walked in any direction but there's no way to know if I'm closer or further away with Pokevision and the footsteps/top 3 functionality disabled.

I've currently got 69 caught, and 70 seen. Which bugs the hell out of me.

It was a SlowBro, and the game froze whilst trying to catch it.

I've only logged back in after a sabbatical to discuss this.

I've just got back from Boston in the states and you honestly cannot believe how massive this game is. I'd say 9/10 people walking in the street with their phone out were playing pokemon. Parks and large groups of people in parks. Pokestops in Boston were every ten metres. Crazy.

Oh and I got an Electrobuzz. Only 248 but I know it's pretty rare.

When do you start getting Great Balls etc? I'm level 10 and haven't seen one yet.

I'm looking forward to heading to New York in a couple of weeks to see what it's like there for Pokemon. However, living in Plymouth, I can't imagine that it can be any more intense. As I said back along, the Plymouth Pokemon Go facebook group actually overtook New Yorks a couple weeks back to become the biggest group Pokemon Go group on facebook, so this city clearly has a heck of a lot of people playing it, especially for its size. And it really does show, as well. No matter what time of day, Parks are always full of people playing and lures. And the ferry over to torpoint now has been absolutely taken over by Pokemon players, people sit on it all day just going back and forth as, for some reason, amazing stuff spawns along its route on a regular basis... plus it moves slow enough to actually count toward eggs as well!

It's actually got to the stage now though where I saw somebody walking along looking at their phone the other day and then they put it up to their ear to talk to somebody and I was like "what the fuck are they doing?" before remembering that phones can do stuff that isn't Pokemon Go as well.

Ah the torpoint ferry, I spent many a 3/4am multi trip after falling asleep in my kebab on that badboy. I miss my Navy days.

We have a popular lure spot down by the seafront, been raining the last couple of days so there have been a shit load of people driving round playing in their cars.. Absolute chaos.

Finally got to level 18 today! And saw an Ekans for the first time. Typically two came along at once.

Got to level 12 today, not that far compared to some people but i feel like i'm doing okay. I'm very close to evolutions of both venomat and drowzee now, but i'll probably upgrade them a couple times before evolving. Also, a 453 parasect spawned outside my house yesterday which was pretty cool, but nothing special. Really want an over 1k pokemon soon though, my best is only currently a 700 flareon

That moment you forget you transferred your nicknamed eevee because you found a stronger one and end up with another Flareon, ah well this one is a lot stronger at 964.

Moving to Cardiff in a month, will be a lot more around than where I live currently.

You're same level as me, although I'm almost 19.

Can someone also explain how the app tracks your KM?
I've been using Runkeeper on my old phone whilst using PMG on my current phone and the discrepancies are insane.
For example runkeeper clocked up just over 5mile which is roughly 8km yet PMG only clocked 3.8km

Edit - this was just walking pace

I don't think it's accurate atall.. Furthermore there's been numerous occasions where I've had an egg on like 4.2km, and 10 Seconds later the egg is hatching.. There's still a fair few bugs that they need to fix still, but atleast it's now playable.

Went to Belfast for the weekend...Christ you see a difference going from the Hicksville where I live, where having two pokestops within half a mile of each other is a luxury, to a 10 minute walk for about 15 pokestops in a big city! Also aided me in finding loads of new water Pokemon near the river too, so Ive moved up 2 levels basically from one stroll along the Lagan!

Not touched this for a bit and went on it just now as someone said there was a Dewgong in the office... shit, have they nerfed the catch chance or something? That bastard took about 20 great balls and 15 strawberrys to catch. Now even pidgeys are swatting by balls away

I finally got a god damn Bulbasaur last night. Why the hell are they so much rarer than Charmander and Squirtle?!

Theres loads of squirtles where I live.. But no charmander a or bulbasaurs. Infact, the only time I've got either of them is through an egg. Might be because I live in a seaside town.

Moving to Cardiff in 2/3 weeks, may be 'slightly' more busy than where I live.

I haven't seen a Bulbasaur yet. Finally caught a Squirtle today, last time I saw one I ran out of pokeballs. Not seen a Charmander either, only the one I started with

My team is coming along alright, although whatever I put in a gym seems to last all of about 5 mins before it's knocked out
