We at Grimsby Town FC have our usual suspects again this year: a mini tournement between us, Real Madrid, Roma and Ajax. Gets a bit boring year after year, but needs must I suppose.

What have your side got?

• 11/7/17 - Stamford Town (Lincs Senior Cup) (A) 7:30pm

• 15/7/17 - Barnsley (H) TBC

• 18/7/17 - Bideford AFC (A) TBC

• 20/7/17 - Tavistock (A) TBC

• 22/7/17 - Boston United (A) 3pm

Plus Blackburn at home on 25/7/17

Gainsborough Trinity (a) in the Lincs Cup, Walsall (h) are confirmed.

Orient's manager tweeted that we have them in a friendly down at their place (on a Tuesday night!), so I can only assume we're down there for a week.

Lincoln United (a) will be in there somewhere as well, and I imagine we'll have another home game against a L1 Club.

Worcester City managed by former Notts Lee Hughes and they will play in my local team "Long Eaton United" division Midland Football League having dropped 4 leagues to Step 5

Your lot certainly were bothered about pre-season fixtures 15/16, all those STUNNING wins against FULL STRENGTH Championship teams meant you'd already won the league, remember?

Erm no but I remember that happening before 14/15 season silly sausage.
And yes very foolish of some of our support proclaiming that because of that we would win the league, good job you FGR supporters have never foolishly claimed the same after winning your first 9 games in 15/16 and also after being clear at the top in October/November last season eh Chris.........

Nope, 15/16 was #operationpromotion #wegoagain. The campaign that you took great delight in pointing out was a total failure at several points during the whole season before we beat you at Wembley and then sold the player it enabled us to buy for £1m+.

To be fair no one really is interested in other people's pre seasons, unless someone gets a big AAA side. But it's something to talk about while, apart from 2 teams the season is finished.

I've a lot of time for both Sheffield clubs, they've always been generous to Mansfield in both friendlies and their loan players

We've added Slough town away who used to be our main rivals before they dropped 3 leagues and we joined The Football League in 1993.

We haven't officially announced any. But apparently we're playing at Shortwood on July 14 and have The Gas at home on the 22nd.

Expect us to play a few other local sides as usual, plus a couple of localish Championship clubs at home and maybe a Prem u23 team. Last year we had a training camp + game in Portugal so wouldn't surprise me if we did similar this time around.
