We simply can’t go into the season with Donaldson at right back.

We’re going to be weak up front this season you’d think. Relying on Bloomfield to come up trumps. Crawley fans seemed to like him when he was on loan there. Let’s see but too many holes in the squad as it stands.

Donaldson gave away the penna yesterday when he was playing at RB, basically pushed their lad over, I don't want us to go back to finding a position for players, if we can utilise him in midfield then use him there, shoehorning him in as a RB ain't gonna work.

Not wanting to read too much into pre season friendlies, but so far we seem to be playing with two upfront, we've used a combination of Bloomfield/Oates/Parkhouse/Grey together, with so many attack minded midfielders to choose from already I can't see three of them being happy either sitting on the bench or not featuring every week, memory is fuzzy but he stuck with a lone striker last season didn't he?

Yeah. Thats us in a nutshell. We are lacking a cutting edge. Thought Dion Kelly Evans stood out for you.

Evans is second choice right back in truth although there's not much in it Ardley prefers Brindley. Knowles was the biggest surprise for me, looks a proper handful, buzzing around and dangerous.

Do wonder about these signings. Would have been more comfortable with proven players. Think I’ve been scarred by 2015, Jenner and Sprockel

We're all scarred by Jenner and Sprockel.
I've a horrible feeling that Ardley's picks are going to be better than the Football Radar moneyball signings. Sam hasn't looked good at all so far, Rodriguess only in glimpses and Sloth yet to look like he could impose himself on a game.
Reeves, Graham and Knowles just look to be a more natural fit in this physical league.

Yep in a 433. He might go for that again as he likes attacking full backs and we have a number of CMs like you say, to keep happy.

That Ofuso seems like a decent find from what a mates been telling and the highlights. Josh McDonald looks canny as well. Add in Molyneux and that’s a good combo of wingers. Playing that you’d have Mason as the focal point and them wingers buzzing around him with the likes of Holohan and Shelton getting in the box as well.

Don’t like 442 at the best of times and don’t think it suits the players we have.

I wouldn’t worry too much, we have only signed 3 (only one of whom, RR, will be a likely starter), not half a new first XI like Moniz signed.

Currently winning 3-0 at Guiseley, thanks to a Jennings hat-trick... that's three from James Jennings, the left back, not his forward brother Connor. Obviously

Finally found our shooting boots tonight as we beat Guiseley 5-1.

Somehow James Jennings managed to grab himself a hat-trick.

Thought we'd all agreed that we were keeping this quiet?

The propaganda manual states that we play things down before the season gets started. Then if we're absolutely dogshit as the season goes I can make boring, meaningless comments about how its all part of the plan and we're "re-building" and throw in buzz words that mean nothing like "transition".

Also, If we're actually quite good, we then have an open mandate to mock other teams and make ludicrous, baseless and downright nonsensical comments about them "bottling it" or some such like.

Sorry Stocky.

I’m sure our 5-1 win was an incredibly lucky one.

We're gonna walk this tinpot league after smashing a bunch of Guiseley trialists 5-1 at Nethermoor.

James Jennings is the best striker in this division. Just been played out of position all his life. FACT

Wasnt there but another extremely encouraging performance in a 2-0 win over a very poor Chesterfield. Looks like another season of struggle for them. Next up Alty on Tuesday

We are absolutely demolishing this Kidderminster side. Not sure whether that's more down to us playing well or them being poor though. I've forgotten what watching football at this level is like.

4-0 up an hour in.

We beat Brandon 12-0, he probably should've brought 10 more mates with him.

Bit of a farce really, but we were left without a fixture after Blyth pulled out.

We’re playing a hilariously attacking line up at Telford, Rodrigues, Roberts and Boldewijn all starting behind a front two.

Drew 0-0 in a competitive enough game at St Albans. Looked good in parts, but a little toothless upfront
