Pre Season friendlies

Last pre-season this afternoon away at Torquay. Two of our players were on loan there last year, and one who did not get another contract with us has signed for them.

We were supposed to play Huddersfield in our last pre season game but they cancelled it and brought there carabao Cup game forward. So we're playing Aston Villa behind closed doors, likely there under23s as they've got a game at Bristol City.

Salford for us today. I'd expect today and Tuesday against Stockport to start seeing something resembling a decent XI.

So far we've mixed and matched in our friendlies.

Beat Peterborough 2-0. Nathan Thompson had to be subbed before being sent off.. Caused them alot of problems. Out high press causing lots of issues. First 11 is very good, but beyond that we don't have much at all

Played well, been a positive pre-season.

We beat Exeter away 2-0 (Udoh x2) in our third and final pre season game. Onto the main one at home to Burton next Saturday now!

Played Watford behind closed doors down Burton today and got another beating of 4-0. No idea on the team we put out, still no word on any incomings it’s a tad worrisome

A Lincoln XI lost 2-0 at Stockport on Tuesday. It was a weaker team than I thought it was going to be and I thought it'd be a weak one!
