Beat Hayes & Yeading 9-0 last night at Thame United.
We fielded a mixed side, due to 12 players having to isolate after the weekend games, with only six senior players involved. Four goals for Matt Taylor (7 in 3 games), two for Joel Cooper (who's return from Northern Ireland is like having a new player), and the other goals were scored by our increasingly impressive youngsters.
We also played our Under 19s against Biggleswade (1st team) and won 2-1, with some as young as 16 making up the numbers.
So overall, at this early stage, we look much stronger than last year, although many of our fan base are on suicide watch because we haven't signed ten new players!!! Probably looking for another five signings before the window shuts.
