Derby can do one, Burnley get on my tits and Hull are just so boring. Wouldn't mind seeing Ipswich do well, massively indifferent to Wednesday.

I predicted before the season that we'd be lucky to achieve the play-offs and despite the table as it stands, I still can't shake the feeling that we'll end up no higher than 3rd.

Middlesborough having a meltdown will really help though.

Do you believe youre good enough to go up. Personally i think you are a little bit short of the quality required, you still havent beat a team in the top 6 so a 2 leg playoff i feel probably wont go in your favour. Well im hoping so anyway

Not been beaten by Hull, Derby or Brighton though mate. I think we don't quite have enough but over 37 games so far we've been the sixth best despite an unknown manager and truth be told had we had a better start who knows. That bedding in period cost us but we are fucking good team, not as good as others but good and we play football the right way IMHO.

Good work Walkley. You'd have to say from those fixtures if Hull are there or thereabouts come mid-April, they would be favourites for an automatic place.

Burnley look to be sitting pretty, can't see past them for the title, but after tonights results it's looking very tight for that 2nd spot. Massive game on Friday between Hull and Middlesbrough.

Thought for a while that Boro will drop out, they just don't score enough goals. Really struggle to break teams down when they get men behind the ball - their record against teams at the bottom is shocking. Lost to Charlton, Rotherham, Blackburn, us (twice!) and only a last minute equaliser saved them against MK. And now this farce with Karanka has come at the worst possible time. The thing going for them is they've got a great record against the other teams up there, the best infact. Versus the top 8 it's P10 W6 D2 L2. Keep that up and beat Hull on Friday and they're in the driving seat.

Brighton have really pushed on again after their blip around Xmas January time and are still the best team I've seen all season, just too many draws is their achilles heel, particularly away from home. Whilst Hull were looking good but unexpectedly dropping 4 points in as many days at home to Forest and MK has left them with a lot of work to do. Still a very strong lineup though and the experience of having been there and done it before.

We're back, baby! Amongst the likes of Sheff Wed, Brum & Cardiff I prefer our run in.
Feel Derby will almost certainly finish outside the top 6 with Wassall in charge which opens things up.

Touch wood McGoldrick is back fit for the last 5 or 6 games- and perhaps Bishop for the playoffs should we make it - that would be a huge boost, even if he's just used as a weapon from the bench.
