Injuries piling up for us now, we desperately need the spine of the side back fit which is a long way off. Good point all in all but fuck sake we need to start playing in the first half of games. Been an issue all season that we can't shake and it's going to cost us dearly.

Good to see Tomlin getting fat

Who is injured apart from lee camp and zohore? Surprised you're doing as well as you are without your main striker tbh..

Gunnarsson, Zohore, Bryson, Harris, Richards, Ward are out at the moment. Morrison went off yesterday as well. The first 3 named are vital to us, as is Morrison at the back. Bogle is potentially crocked as well which means we have no strikers for Saturday.

Yeah I saw Morrison went off injured, he will probably be a loss but atleast bamba and manga are more than good enough? Gunnarson is a decent player but I thought Bryson was crap against us.. guessing he just had a bad day.

Sounds like you're in the same boat as us with the injuries piling up, which is far from ideal going into the Christmas period.. guess it will show if we both do really mean business if we're both still up there after this period.

Fammy's back in training so, hopefully, he'll be back playing soon with Milan going under the knife next Tuesday. I don't know if it's coincidence but Bobby's goals seem to have dried up a bit since Fammy's been injured.

I did find it odd that we were doing djurics op on the 18th of this month, when we have Man Utd 2 days later, a striker shortage as it is.. and with Woodrow and leko cup tied... Fammy due back earlier perhaps?!

Starting to think it’s rigged and that clubs running efficiently are selected to go up

Christ, I hope not, the running of my club is inexplicably bad.
Our 150th anniversary and couldn't have been done much worse.
I Love Swfc but some of the management decisions are absolutely ludicrous.

Unless you know a palm to grease, since Leicester I have started to be suspicious of the top flight & I don’t see why the Championship wouldn’t be involved along the line.

A fair supposition Jon. Let's hope it's correct as it would explain a lot.

It isn't. Johnson in his presser said that he hopes diediou will be back by the third game in Jan.. leaves us very light up front.

I expect we're going to continue with Pato playing just behind Reid for now. Woodrow as back up in league games until Jan.

We don't have much option but to do that... problem being is we need to rotate the squad during the busy period so I'm slightly concerned

Scrapped our way back in the hunt. Still on paper a favourable run for the next few weeks so will be disappointed if we're not in the top six by late Jan to be honest.

Credit to all for turning it around, for all we're not suddenly incredible or owt.

We're gonna be out the top 6 this time next Saturday and I don't think we will win at villa in the late kick off so will remain out of it. 6 games ago we beat Burton and went top of the league 5 games later and 1 point we've dropped dramatically but everyone has a bad run , hopefully we get back on track in time for January 12th.

Gotta take some heart from us doing the exact same tbh. Sounds like you've been a bit unfortunate too.

Similar to us too, started really well then lost 8 in 11 or something like that! Now only 2 points off play offs!

If we can come out of this run of 6 games in 16 days still 3rd or better then we've done very well.

Walked out of the game behind 2 Forest fans today and was listening to their conversation. Isn't it funny how we're 'no great shakes' and 'will fall away soon as they're not very good' but have just beaten the critic's team? Funny that.
If the Forest goal wasn't deflected (couldn't tell from the replay), take a bow son, that was some finish!

Well our entire midfield was missing today so it was always gonna be an extremely tough ask. A few injuries may have set us back a bit but you have to deal with them as a football team. I honestly still have every confidence we will get back on track, next week I'm not expecting anything but imo with the games coming thick and fast it's a good opportunity to get going again. Our back up options in midfield are very poor, I'm quite happy with lundstram who's replaced Coutts but we have nothing else so that's maybe an area to look at in January. Anyway I ain't one of these who start acting a complete clown and going way over the top over a few bad results, it's a 46 game season it happens. And we are still 10 points clear of our dear neighbours so all is good at bramall lane.

Forest fans are one of the worst at games

before they played us and were in the top 4 due to a great start, it was gonna be another easy game for them, sadly it was like a training game for us and probably our easiest away win of the season

Unless Leeds screws up big time vs Burton next week one of Aston Villa and Sheffield United will fall out of the top 6

Villa will drop out. They don't have much of a goal threat without Kodjia, and seem to be massively reliant on Adomah to get them on the scoresheet every week. I really don't know why Sky rave out that Keinan Davis kid upfront for Villa, he is shite every time I've seen him. Bare in mind his plays up top for them most weeks he's scored a colossal 2 goals this season.

Derby, Bristol City and Cardiff look like the only teams who will fight for 2nd, hopefully it will be either of the former teams.
