Wouldn't call it obsessed I'm obviously delighted the team we are chasing in 6th completely bottled it today. It could be you or it could have been Hull if they were 6th so don't get a stiffy :bye:
You won’t get in the playoffs so I’m not worried.

Bristol City problem at the moment is the left side, they may as well not bother fielding those 2.

I use to slate Ayling, he looks disciplined compared to those 2 pricks.

City if they get a grip will fire back up the table

First half I was purring, the second half we were absolute dog shite.
I can't see us making the top 6 TBH as we seem to be getting a tad cocky. No disrespect to the Mackems but we should have been out of sight and we aren't half missing Baker.

We probably won't get in the play offs but i highly doubt it will be your lot stopping us. We have only been beaten once in the last 15 league games so would much rather be in our position now rather than you in free fall.

Has Vydra got 20 for the season?

Rowett wanted to say Maddison dived didn't he but didn't feel he could !

17 in the league, 18 all comps. If it weren't for him and Carson we'd be comfortably mid table.

Yeah, he was quite theatrical all game. Good player though.

Actually think Norwich still have a chance at play offs. Another decent result for them yesterday and they were very good at ours the other week.

Everyone down to Norwich still has a chance I think. Personally I think the top 5 plus Boro are favourites for 6th. Hopefully they miss out though, fulham have a very hard run coming up too. Be a great achievement if us or Preston manage it.

On the old site there used to be a poster who did the championship table thread that head the best ever points, highest and lowest playoff points, highest and lowest relegation places etc and would then plot the current seasons league against it.

Does anyone know what the hell I am talking about or who that was?

Yeah that rings a bell, used to love that as for some reason reminded me of having a league ladder as a kid. Do any versions of that sits exist anywhere so we could steal one to adapt, rather than have to completely start from scratch?

Cool, let me know if you want any stats collating or rounding up on here so you aren't doing it all yourself.

PNE have Wolves and Villa coming up too. Middlesbrough have Cardiff and Sheff Utd are in the FA Cup next weekend!

Could really do with kicking on. Bit stop, start at the minute. Yesterday just about sums us up!

Don't see why we can't get 6th, we should have a fully fit squad in 3 weeks, ready for the big run in.

Could do with winning one of Wolves (h) or Villa (a) though, big ask.

Looking forward to Saturday.

We aren't in this anymore. Saturday will have knocked the stuffing out of us and we weren't actually that good anyway... The cup run just gave us the confidence and momentum to play above ourselves for a while. It was great but realistically we were never good enough to keep it going.

I expect us to level out at about 10th which will be a good platform to build on in future.
Good luck to everybody involved.

You should probably watch more of us before making stupid comments like that Luke.

If we'd have had a fit squad all season we'd have had more than enough ability in it. Pisano, O'Dowda who both looked the part before getting injured have missed more than half the season, out record signing missed nearly 5 months, Djuric has played for a month and in that time won us about 3 games, been out ever since. £18k p/w O'Neil has played in one game and Hegeler has been out since September as well.

Stop chatting bollocks, if we sort ourselves out and get everyone back for the run in there's every chance we'll peak at the right time.

Not forgetting you have Bobby Reid, the best player in the league (at least according to your Ch5 talking head)

It was only two months ago when you said ”this is as good as it gets, it's all downhill from now on” for which I accused you of chatting bollocks. A kind of ironic twist this isn't it?!

Could only go downhill from beating Man United though couldn't it let's be right...

We were never the third best side in the league, but to say we were never any good in the first place is absolute bollocks.

We've been better than most teams 3/4 of our league games this season, beaten Man United and pushed the best side in europe for 180 minutes. We've clearly got something about us.
