Glad we has many points as we do. It's a clusterfuck down there, lose a few on the bounce and you can go from 2nd to 10th.

For us silly.

Five out of our next six games against sides struggling down the bottom. A fair haul from that would see us sitting close to the top six. We ain't gonna do it, obviously, but it would be fucking funny if we came close.

No, seriously. For who?

Actually there's little I would like more than to see Millwall and Brentford up in the play-offs. I reckon Brentford could possibly do it, but you're a further 5 or 6 points off or something like that.

Catching up one team who are six/nine/ten points ahead is one thing but overtaking a whole load of teams is extremely unlikely. You'll just have to wait until we gift you some more hand-me-downs next season (Joe Mason, Danny Batth, Iorfa). And it would help if you started playing in old gold.

It ain't likely, but now that we're firmly established in midtable the next benchmark is the top six. Aside from the five teams down at the bottom, we also have to play Brentford, Sheffield United, Boro, Bristol City and Fulham. Five potential six-pointers there if we make it past the preliminary test. The path is there, at least.

So if you were to predict the top 6 now then who would you go for?

Playoff ramifications alert. Neves receives a booking, will now be suspended for 2 games, including away at Fulham. I am not lowering my confidence level about winning that. Neves is key to everything, EVERYTHING! *imagine started crow noise here.

Yeah joking aside I am now like 'if we get 2 points from those two games, that's a decent return'...

:milk:

no reason for the Rammy milkman, just desperately trying to cheer myself up!

Saiss is on 9 yellows too, hope they aren't suspended at the same time. I would consider sending Neves on holiday for a couple of weeks though. He deserves one, and if he gets called up for Portugal for the World Cup, it might be the only holiday he gets for a long while.

I did wonder if Saiss hadn't been brought back in just yet to prevent that, as scoring and good performances aside, Neves and Saiss is the better combination than Saiss and N'Dayie.

Better from us tonight. Could, maybe should have nicked it against a very in form team. After Cardiff on Sunday, that's us done with games against the current top six which is a positive.

You and Fulham are the form teams at the moment, crazy league though 2nd place seems to change every week.
It's safe for a week at least now!
Morrison off injured isn't good news for us though, no coincidence that we lost 4 on the bounce when he was out of the side. We get another win against Bristol City on Sunday and I may just start believing we'll make the play offs.

Thanks in anticipation.
