Nothing will beat us in 2009/10 (I think) when we won our last 4 to beat Cardiff into the play offs by 1 goal scored The 6-0 thrashing of Cardiff at Deepdale made even better by the fact they missed a penalty which would have kept them in the play offs had they scored it.

Still have nightmares about that game, it's why I'm still not convinced we'll finish top 6 this season!

It'd take one hell of a shift and one that this squad isn't capable of. Our season was going swimmingly until the first 90th minute goal we conceded back in December, since then we've won 2 in 17.

Same underbelly as last season, now we're conceding goals late again, chucking away leads, and haven't won away since Sheffield United.

Seen plenty saying we are nothing special. Villa will definitely trouble whoever plays out of Batth or Bennett though, set pieces could be key for them too as we still look suspect at them at times. I think Saiss might drop out for Neves as a result of Alfs aerial strength.

Don't mean it in an arrogant way or anything like that... just had it all from Villa fans at work on how we are going to bottle it, how we will fall away in the winter, how we aren't as good as we think we are etc. It's made me want to beat Villa more than anyone else.

I think, no infact I know if we play as good as i know we can we beat Villa. I am sure they say he exact same about beating us too. The rivalry has certainly grown this year and I think both clubs welcome it. Either way I hope both of us go up.

We will need to play well to beat them, and vice versa. No way I was giving up on us catching them, but that was a massive win for wolves last night. If we beat them Saturday, the gap is still 7 points, instead of the 4, or 5 I was hoping for. Wolves fans themselves are becoming arrogant, but it's only natural. You are being arrogant, and rightly so given the gap and the squad you have.

I don't think Wolves were that great last night to be honest but didn't have to be to beat Leeds as they were poor, losing Cooper didn't help them mind.

Sooner Jorge Mendes FC go up the better, be a slightly more level playing field despite the clubs coming down on parachute payments (though I'd argue they are as unfair on FFP as Fosuns Mendes link)
