I didn't even get a chance to start a 'Are Villa really that good' thread.

Great night, gives us some breathing room for the difficult away games to Cardiff and Middlesborough now.

Massive win that is for us. To dig in after going down to a sloppy goal and then win quite comfortably against a good side like Brentford takes some doing.

Fully deserve to go up, don't give a fuck what anyone says about your style of play, you are worthy of the top 2

Warnock summed it up before for me, why play 40 passes when you can get to the same area and create a chance in 3? Brentford played nearly 3 times as many passes as us tonight, yet had less shots on target and only 5 more touches than we did in the opposition box.
Another huge game on Sunday now, win that and I'll start believing we can go up automatically.

Isn't football beautiful, at the weekend the talk was of them getting in the autos, now seen Villa fans speculating about being under a lot of pressure by their late kickoff Saturday, if everyone else wins.

Shocking result last night, and wipes out that hammering we gave wolves. It's not over yet,but we can't afford anymore slip ups, and we must be Cardiff at home. It's probably going to be the play offs, and we have no one to fear. I see wolves fans have came out of their sulk :)

Shocking result last night, and wipes out that lucky result vs wolves. I see wolves fans have came out of their sulk :)

(/Sulkoff)

Am going to check the odds on a Burton win though...

Fulham v sheff utd
Villa v Boro

That will do, although we will be soundly beaten again.

I can see Derby dropping out and I’m not sure if Boro will keep their form going. I think we’re finished now, we need maximum points from the next two to keep our hopes alive..

That would be a good set of playoffs, still a long way to go. I'd not want to proclaim that the current top two will stay the top two.

I can't see anyone catching either of you TBH unless Fulham can.
While Villa can put together a string of good results, their capacity for the odd disaster like last night makes me think they're not such a threat.
Fair play to yourselves and (grits teeth) Cardiff, 2 very different ways of achieving a goal but it looks like both have worked.

Fulham would have to win 4 more games than we do to overtake us. We have by far the easiest run in of anyone so I can't really see it happening.

Yes you're well and truly finished, the gap is way too big for you to catch up now with so few games, may as well play the kids and concentrate on next season.

When was the last time you took 3k anywhere? Or even 300 for that matter...

I can really feel the envy here and I'm loving every second of it.

What are the Cardiff fans thoughts on how you approach the Prem? Would many back Warnock being replaced or stepping down? Or would all want him to stay. Would be interesting to see what your approach is as his style everyone likes to bang on about, isnt too different to Burnley.

When Cardiff win promotion will your fans wear their trousers up to their nipples and grow a dodgy 70's tash to commemorate the wonder that is Vincent Tan?

Your easiest game of the season. We can’t win games anyway, but we have Ledley, Thorne, and Huddlestone all out, so we’re a bit screwed.
