Whils't I like DC and thought he did a remarkable job getting us back to our rightful position. In my opinion there are a few managers I consider to have done better. 1. Bert Tann 2. Don Megson 3. Gerry Francis to name three.
That’s the beauty of it right, we all have different opinions but no denying how great DC was for us even if not in your top 3. I’m not old enough for the others but I know people who are who think he’s our best ever and others who think Trollope was better. Will take a lot of beating to beat DC for me. Not only great times on the pitch but an absolute legend off it too.

We can't keep apologising. It's not our fault. We are the victims too...

Nothing to apologise, us mansfield fans are the same in apologising for spanish stag, every club has a few fans who are a few sandwiches short of a picnic.

The ignore button is a wonderful tool.

The best part about it is the clique you get on forums like this are usually the absolute tosspots in real life that nobody likes. Thankfully this isn't the real world.

Certainly in the case of those I know on here who post & the same follows suit on Exeweb.

I think plenty on here will agree there's clique like culture on here. I find it hilarious. Especially when I see in the real world those people get the piss taken out of them on a weekly basis. But, alas, at least they can feel at home on here.

We've already ordered the bus, the title is quite literally confirmed.

Carlisle we absolutely dominated, their fans have said we're the best team they've seen all season. Just check their forum out. Newport was a bit of a scrappy win, but it was a pretty even game, away at a promotion rivals place so not really a bad day. Look, the title is ours, as I've said in Feb. You're not going to beat us at SJP, even if we've sown the title up by then and on the beach. You couldn't beat us if our lads had KFC and Subway the night before combined with 15 pints, before getting just 3 hours kip. Your squad just isn't anywhere near as our top 3 League One squad quality.

Hahahaha. Our squad is better than yours you melt.

None of your strikers get in our side. None of them are in the same class as Jamie Proctor and James Wilson.

None of your midfielders are as good as Tom Conlon. So they'd have to compete with Ben Garrity, Harry Charsley, Tom Pett and Brad Walker for a starting spot. I'd take Dieng, that's about it really.

Our wingbacks, James Gibbons, Dave Worrall and Mal Benning, would all walk into your side. Gibbons is better than Caprice before you pipe up.

Connor Hall, our LCB, would walk into your side. Stubbs is the only one I'd take from your back line.

I'd say Dawson is better than Stone but not by a large margin.

Can't wait to see you struggle like fuck in League One next season.

Nombe when he's fit I would take over Proctor.

The rest I kind of agree with, on paper Conlon Charsley and Pett is very very good.
Don't sleep on our Archie Collins though, he's championship material and will get picked up sooner or later.

Backline wise I don't particularly rate our wingbacks. Would take yours over ours any day of the week.
At CB it's a different matter, Stubbs, Diabate and Hartridge will all have great careers above L2 level. Hard to know what their ceiling is but I suspect better than L1.

Charsley is a decent league two player and Mansfield are blessed in his position so game time was limited but I’m glad he’s doing well.

FUCK. LMFAO!

Dieng, Brown & Collins walk into your deep and spit on your players that are left in the carpark. Dawson is championship standard and the best keeper in the league. Stubbs is Prem quality, Diabiate & Hatridge would probably urinate themselves at the state of your post and could even have a seizure at the shite filled in it. Nombe is the best striker in the league. Its no even a debate. I reckon our u18s would beat your full strength side.

League one is play offs minimum although I'd expect automatics. I think in the last 3 games we will still have a shot at back to back titles.

My bet is 4-1 when we play you end of year. Your 1 will be an OG.

Can't fault him as a signing to be honest. Seems to have fit in perfectly with how we like to play the game and not the worst technically either. Going to be a tough decision next season though when Conlon is back fit as one of him or Garrity will need to make way and I wouldn't want to be the one to make that call.

I really liked him, lovely lad. as conker said though struggled to get on the bench at times.

Certainly one of those players you clap when you see them against you next time round.

Charsley has been a real surprise really, when we signed him and it was the case of him wanting more game time and leaving Mansfield for it I thought he was going to end up disappointed as we have Conlon, Pett and Garrity and then Brad Walker, arguably our strongest position that midfield.

Conlon got injured in January though and when he got his chance he has really took it to be honest. Losing TC for the season felt critical to our hopes but Charsley has done a decent job, absolute workhorse like Garrity, those two ratting causes all sorts of problems and as said above if Conlon magically became fit he wouldn’t walk back in now.

Needs to sort that facial hair out though, not sure what that is!

He stood out alongside Lapslie when we played you at Field Mill earlier on this season. Them two pretty much ran the show for large parts of the game. His energy levels in terms of his running are ridiculous really.

I think Vale and Mansfield actually have similar ways of playing in that we both like to press high up the field and play at a fast pace so that probably helped him fit in too as would have done pretty much the same job.

It’ll be interesting if that draw earlier in the season makes the difference. Should have scored a hatful that night, was unreal.

Given how close it is you certainly couldn't rule it out, was definitely a fortunate point for us overall. With that said from that same game if memory serves me correctly you got an extremely soft penalty which you missed. If you scored that and that's what cost us then there is a good chance that would be getting brought up quite frequently in the future :)

Such things aren’t going to be the difference, had we not thrown away a 2-0 lead at hartlepool for instance, or let newport back into it at their place when well ontop, it’s all going to happen to everyone at some stage over the season.

After his last post, I'm in full agreement.

He genuinely believes what he writes too, which is the scariest thing. Like, it's not even humour anymore. He's just very, very special.

Every team has them, what if Wilson doesn't miss a 1 on 1 in the 92nd minuted and Rochdale equalise with their only attack all game from the resulting goal kick, etc. What if Amoo was more alert when the Exeter keeper dropped the ball on the goal line in the 95th minute, Oldham away, We bemoan things like that but all teams have them.

Loads of twists and turns to come and nervous times ahead! Guess the saving grace is bar a massive cock up now whoever misses out has the insurance of a second bite of it in the play offs.

Oddly in that Mansfield game if i recall despite the alamo (not sure why we set up like we did that night even now!) we actually nearly pinched it at the end with Conlon's second free kick hitting the bar.

Despite the injuries, we're playing well and would be surprised if we can't pick up the points for the autos and sticking my neck out would expect us to get at least twelve points from the remaining games, so if Exeter can win all theirs they might pip us and fair play if they do, but it'll be going some.

Lol. 12 points? I reckon you'll maybe get 9 if you're lucky. I'd go for 8 though. 2 wins, 2 draws, 2 defeats. We'll be getting 16 points, with every game a win apart from a draw vs Northampton.

You do laugh a lot, be it out loud or at risk to your fat arse; what a jolly place whatever squalid pit you hang in out must be.
Watch the highlights of our draw with Hartlepool; as well as enjoying the lush Cotswold scenery, marvelling at the plush facilities of the New Lawn and imagining the mouth-watering taste of some fake burger, you'll note the number of excellent efforts March makes from the numerous chances our talented midfield provide. he's had to come in a bit cold but is getting up to speed and will be providing the goals we need once the luck he's making for himself turns.
