I'd rather finish 8th than have a Saturday night in Newport

we’ve already had that last time we finished 4th, half surprised when the government announced they were sending immigrants to rwanda, it’s like just send them to newport - it’s basically the same it’s closer and cheaper!

To be honest I wouldn’t mind Newport. All I’d do is look to stay in Cardiff and have a night round there.

i’ll do a deal with you, i think it’s easily the worst place i’ve ever been to in the UK, we go up and you have a night in cardiff.

Will chuck in a few pints too.

We’re not going away quietly. Have to admire the resilience of our lot.

Feels a massive day today with Mansfield slipping up the win was huge for us.

We can afford to lose one of the four now and know three wins does it, possibly winning 2 of the 4 will be enough as it relies on everyone winning all their remaining games but we will see.

We seem to just be finding ways to win at the moment and regardless a play off spot is all but secure at worst.

Injuries are mounting again though.

As i’ve said confidently across the board we wouldn’t go up, and today has confirmed it.

I wish the top 3 the very best of luck in league 1 next season.

Monday is going to be insane. So good to be involved in a game like this at the end of the season at least at the right end of the table.

Still all to play for and I still think it’ll go all the way but its now advantage Vale and with a bit of margin for error.

Congrats to PV, Exeter and FGR on automatics. If we play like that again we’ll finish 11th, absolutely dreadful today

Got to say that with FGR's tough away games it's possible they will only win the two home games, meaning we'd be champions if we won our remaining home games.

after today i'd say Port Vale are favourites - because you still have to play us - and Zanzala can't play in that match...

What you didn’t think we looked like champions in the making then? You clearly don’t know a top quality team when you see one.

not today you didn't... all depends how Monday goes - IF you beat Oldham then you're all but promoted and then playing without as much pressure could get you over the line

You're our game in hand over Vale, so we can afford to lose and still be ahead of them (all other results being equal of course).

If Port Vale win on Monday against Bristol Rovers then IMO they will go up, alot still depends on Mansfield atm with that game in hand vs Stevenage still.

Picture will be clearer by Monday, but IMO its a must win game for Mansfield away at Carlisle on Monday.

Nah we’re done, we weren’t going to do it anyway,

I don’t doubt that next season we will have an excellent chance of going up top 3, is this season too early - maybe?

We rely on 3 players too much / take them our side and were buggered.

Same for us. I don't think we've been that good of late and it's only been for a bit of brilliance from on loan Anderson thats won us a few games.

Must win at Vale on Monday if we want to go for the autos. Must not lose if we want to stay in the play offs. Value will also know that a win on Monday will all but confirm their promotion as well, should be a great game

For us it’s just about keeping the run going really, I think 2 wins would probably be enough, especially if one of those is on Monday, todays buys us one free pass of a loss at least.

Walker going off today was a big blow although Jake Taylor came on for only his second appearance in months after injury and produced the magic to win the game, but we are without some key players and still plodding along which is testament to the squad. No Conlon, Gibbons, Worrall or Pett today who you could argue are four of our best players so it’s been a real workmanlike effort with this run.

Monday is huge now, win at any costs and we’d be within touching distance. Draw is ok if Mansfield don’t win at Carlisle as it keeps the gap to them and Rovers and a three points plus GD on Cobblers at least.

It’s so tense though. Just rather we just win the next three and not worry about anyone else! But football isn’t that easy is it!

The fact we’ve been below par the past two games and still won bodes well though.

What a player he is eh! ive never seen a player with so little league experience play with so much ability, strength and confidence. Always wants the ball too which is a good sign.
He will definitely be playing Championship level at the least next season.

He is the real deal, I have no doubt about that. He has a lot to learn to be ready at the top of the game but no doubt he could make it in the Championship IMO
