Rovers definitely favourites now in my book. An absolute gimme 3 points next week and one of us or Mansfield have to win both our games. That 95th minute winner is a sickener as a draw against Exeter last game might have been enough.
Nah you win both games and its yours, simple.
It won't be all that easy next week - promotion took a stoppage time winner against an already relegated Dagenham & R side on the final day the last time we were in this league.

I think a win on Monday guarantees us a playoff spot and with GD I expect a draw would actually be enough.

That live table next Saturday is going to be crazy how much it will change during the games. Already sold 1500 tickets I believe for the beamback at VP.

The live league table was crazy enough as it was today. We went at one point from being outside the play offs and ended it with a shout of the autos

Are we getting a percentage of the money for your beam back?

Not sure to be honest. I presume we have had to come to some arrangement with Exeter to back us over it as obviously you’re hosting the game. Think ultimately the EFL agreed as we argued there was a risk of lots travelling without tickets.

This league is insane. Rovers were 8th at 3-1 down and now they look a good bet for 3rd. Mental. Huge two games on Monday.

Oh and we’re going up as fucking champions :woot:

Thought we were done after losing to ten man Orient yet here we are with our fate in our own hands.

Always knew Bradford were massive. Well in Bantams.

Have Vale sold out for Exeter?

Sold out the away end on the first day of going on sale a couple of weeks ago. Think they gave us about 1300 if I remember rightly.

Fair shout. I think thats one of the provisions to being allowed to beam it back as Exeter wouldnt have made any more money anyway

They'll really need to redevelop St James Park if they want to progress further. 1300 away fan allocation isn't good enough in league one, nevermind higher.

What a fantastic club Port Vale is, always said so. Of course, we'd have to do something against Mansfield too and that's looking unlikely.
You'll surely want to sign off with a win? The only team guaranteed a win next week is Bristol Rovers and that's the team I'd be concerned about. Got to win on Monday first though...

Unfortunately there isn't really any way to redevelop on the current site because of the roads and railway line. Moving, either to a new site or a groundshare with the chiefs, would be too expensive, so it is what it is for the foreseeable future.

We'd nip back top if you win and so do we but recent evidence says we might not do our bit, and Exeter are a resilient outfit.

Whether Exeter win title or not, they will not be able to emulate Portsmouth in topping table in final match of season.
Small consolation to FGR, but hey-ho

Maybe the best away performance I have seen this season at Sutton.

It can't possibly be done by then, even if you win and we lose on Monday. I don't understand how you're so confident. Like us, you've hardly been in scintillating form recently. I'm not at all confident that we'll beat Newport, nevermind Exeter!

Ah I see. Any chance of a new ground? It has to be thought about if you have aspiration for the championship?

Yeah, three sell out away ends in one season, let's just spend millions so Accrington can bring 200 down next season...

If we groundshare with Chiefs I'm out. I love our little ground.
