The only team we have lost to away this season in the top 8 is Bristol Rovers and we find ourselves in 14th ffs, home form and sloppy games against bottom half teams chucked away our chances of being involved in this discussion. Only one point from our games at Oldham and Scunthorpe…

The only thing that hasn't changed dramatically is you're still a massive bellend.

Ah I see. Any chance of a new ground? It has to be thought about if you have aspiration for the championship?
As mentioned we rarely sell out, so not worth it at present. I guess we'll have to see what happens next season and beyond, but I can't see it happening. There is no realistic (and low-risk) way we can fund a stadium without someone giving us a load of money. Although our ground is prime city centre real estate, we don't own the land so no money to be made there.

Yeah, three sell out away ends in one season, let's just spend millions so Accrington can bring 200 down next season...
I agree, but how are you going to push on? In the championship most followings will likely be 3000. Otherwise you're just content with bumping back and forth between the bottom two divisions.

It’s ours to throw away again (and we maybe will!) but it’s a decent position to be in.

Monday is absolutely massive now… can’t wait!

I mean you've lost to us twice this season at SJP. Your record is W0 D1 L2 at us. But you carry on anyways

It will never happen. Chiefs don't want or need it.
We don't want or need it either!

Our location is perfect, there's isn't.
We have the best terrace in the UK, they don't.
How often do we sell out our ground anyway?

Are you on here just to post shite all day

I think we will deal with that when it happens! Remember we have never been higher than eighth in league one, and to get above that with our current ownership model is pretty much impossible.

(Happy for DL to bring up this quote in a years time and say im talking nonsense)

Will do.

PO's likely for next year, although I'm not writing off one of the automatics yet. Fingers crossed Wednesday are promoted from L1 so we get another year with Dawson.

You said the only team you've lost away to in the top 8 is BR. Evidently isn't true when you've lost to us TWICE
I’m sure anyone not thick as mince would know considering the thread topic would know what I’m talking about, but I’ll make special allowances just for you in the future.

I've got you down as PO winners after your victory tonight against the villagers.
Another prediction that could be coming true. You beat FGR after that, pretty much secured a PO place when you were outside at the time.

I dont get much wrong really, do I?

Out of the two games on Monday I think I’d prefer a Salford win more than a Newport one. Exeter were bang at it yesterday and it was a great game of football.

From a Cobblers perspective if we’re still hanging onto third at 5pm Monday I’d be confident. We’re really playing well, yesterday’s game was a cracker and we’re creating a lot more from open play. Based on the second half we should have come away with a win but hey ho.

Not looking forward to the 6:03 leave on the train for Barrow

I agree. If we beat Newport then it comes down to a straight shoot out between you, us and Bristol Rovers. Granted, our last game is the toughest but our superior goal difference means that if we win our last 2 then we'll go up.

On a one off game, anything can happen.

Our away form has been excellent and our best away performances/results have been in some of the toughest places to go this season. (Burton, FGR, Rotherham, Bradford, Salford, Rovers), I wouldn’t rule us out despite Devon Lads bias but of course we would have to be right at it and will be a big challenge to get the result.

Pressure would be off to a degree as well as everyone would be writing us off.

Just a shame we put in such a shitter at Walsall as won that we’d have had a chance of being up tomorrow so if we don’t make it only have ourselves to blame. 5 points clear with 4 to play this shouldn’t even be a discussion anymore.

It’s back in our hands, win 2 games of football and we’re promoted. We can over complicate it all we like and worry about other teams, but if we do our job we’re up. If we don’t win both games then we don’t deserve to finish 3rd.

We’ve lost our last 2 games and it’s still in our hands. We’ve been given enough chances.

I think tomorrow is going to be really tough.

If we can get the win and put some pressure on port vale then who knows.

We could lose both and finish outside the playoffs, though after yesterdays results that would be quite an achievement
