Watching that has taken a couple of months off my life.

Really surprised by Mansfield there, very meh. Bowyer the far more proactive manager there in terms of chasing the game.

I did hear Clough mention the possibility of finishing outside the playoffs in his pre match interview so maybe that was playing on his mind?

Absolutely garbage from us second half, we look tired going into the playoffs (if we even make them)

Another season in this league it is, time for a depressive drive home!

Disappointed in Mansfield in the end. Thought they looked far superior, but maybe the chance, small as it was, of losing and ending up outside the play offs did for them.

We have previous with Clough in the POs - he was in charge of Sheffield Utd when we beat them in the L1 play off semis. Remember the 5-5 draw at our place?

Didn’t deserve the win today.

Poor all round.

You’re right there, if it’s one criticism of clough is that he’s too defensive, he was scared to go for it with the potential of losing it.

Probably should have won it at the end but heyho. i’ve said all along we wouldn’t go up automatically - to be bottom in october and be where we are is a cracking effort.

If in doubt just listen to me, no way on earth we were putting in a performance to win that today.

In fairness just saw that challenge on longstaff first half, that’s a red. Shocking that’s been missed.

Sure is possible, but I think it’s a bit easier being the hunter than the hunted. Although I’d be disappointed to miss out on the play offs now we’ve managed to drag ourselves in the top 7, it’s still been a great effort this season looking at the trapdoor in all reality.

Yeah it's so much easier being the hunter which we have been doing for the last few months.
We have not been in the top 3 all season, maybe we will do it when it matters....

I think I’d prefer you to get 3rd - purely selfishly. I reckon, from what I’ve seen so far today, the others would bottle it.

Not sure your lot would.

I dont know, we did look a bit jittery in the 1st half on Saturday, but went for it in 2nd half with attacking subs

We are all over the place that half. Same nervousness we’ve had for a few weeks now and miles below standard. Huge half to save our season now.

Tbf, we’ve just won 3 in a row knowing we had to win all 3 to have a chance of the POs. Hope we don’t blow it now.

Out of all the potential play off opponents Swindon have played the best against us, although anything from last year is a shadow of the current Bristol Rovers.

I suppose that even if Cobblers win on Saturday you’ve got half a chance of pegging back the GD against a totally useless Scunny

He’s sent them out for the second half 5 minutes early! Hopefully the sign of a massive roasting!
